YEEEEEEESSS!!! THANK YOU!!! FINALLY!! Someone who feels the same way about this episode! :-D You know I actually remember from a long time ago when Nickelodeon did a special where they counted down the top episodes of Spongebob, and I believe the audience voted on them. If I can remember, Band Geeks was not even in the top ten episodes, and I definitely remember that it wasn't number 1, it was Karate Island. While I firmly believe that everyone is entitled to their own opinions, I just feel that Band Geeks was a SEVERELY UNDERRATED episode. It just feels good knowing that I'm not alone on this subject, thank you :-)

I had a dream a while back that was both embarrassing and terrifing because of this song. I had fallen asleep listening to it, and it REALLY effected my dream. I was in a snowy town with some of my friends, and at some point the town had started to get attacked by what looked like an army, and we only had enough time to build shitty defenses before we were under fire. At some point one of my friends died by getting shot in the throat. Then another dies after getting hit with an explosive, and then I get shot. The town is being over run and we are trying to get people out, and after I got shot I started to hear this song in my dream. It wasn't like it was nonstop playing, but like it was just in my head. Anyway, I've been shot and am bleeding out. I feel cold numbness although out my body and the rest of the fight. My visions getting blurry and I can't aim for shit. eventually I get hit a second time and I can't get up. I slowly close my eyes as I'm losing consciousness. I'm not unconscious yet buy my eyes are closed and I feel my self dying. I open my eyes one last time to see gunfire all around me before I close them again and as I drift off, I hear the lines "you don't win no silver, you only lose the gold" right as I would have died. At this point, I wake up terrified.
