I was watching E22 sleeping on the nest tonight. I've always liked when eagles lay down in their nest. Cherishing all I can now. Missing Harriet. She would be so proud of her M15 and grown babies 💕
Dear E22💓 You have all you need here and specially a champion Dad who brings you food. Enjoy staying at this heavenly place for still a little while ...for your pleasure and ours 🤞🦅🥰.
Haha well put Diane!! I’ll never forget the season with E15 😂, this eaglet left and came back after a week or so and then stayed for so long it fledged around the time of the albatrosses if I recall correctly! It was so funny to see. Dad M15 was so accepting of the little one the whole time, and people were wondering if it was bad to be enabling the eaglet like that but many of us knew not to question M15’s ways 😄, he’s an amazing eagle dad! And Harriet was amazing too, she didn’t feed e15 the whole time like dad did but that balance was probably perfect 😊
❤M15 is probably pretty satisfied with how well these babies have grown and matured this season with all life has thrown at them. They will be top survivors in a class all their own. Well done Harriet and M15! 🤗🤗🤗 May your legacy live on. ❤🎉🦅🦅
Getting ready for E22 to go on its big adventure of a life time. Dad has done a wonderful job. What a lovely family to watch. Looking forward to what M15 will do after the kids are gone.
@@Zombies12344bc That won't happen this season. If Harriet does not return in the Fall (I still hold out hope), then he will pick a new mate & refurbish the nest.
Fluffy E22 is so excited about the yummy RK-rabbit😊 Her landing right on the Daddy is spectacular😍 All is ok😊 Daddy M is used to the enthusiasm from his kids😉 Thank you, Daddy ❤ Be blessed, our beloved Eagles😍💞 Thank you, Lady Hawk😍❤
What a handsome growing boy you are E22 >full of vim and vigor with the world at your feet!! We champion your spirit you miniM15!! 😁🫶 Stay the week.. Please? My heart needs you ❤️🩹😘
Bittersweet don’t want to say goodbye, will miss you Mum would of been proud, M15 you have won father of the year rearing these babies alone , even after losing your beautiful love Harriet she taught you well to be a strong father if anything ever happened, stay proud and strong and go onto your next journey M knowing you did everyone proud , bless all your little hearts forever ❤
He did so well didn’t he 🥲🥰🥰, everyone is so proud of him and he deserves it! And it’s crazy to think that Harriet was once in the position he’s going to be in now, she lost her mate and had to carefully select the right one to move on with; and did she ever choose wisely! It’s so sad that she’s gone and now he is where she was at one point, let’s hope he chooses wisely too😊 and I think he will
Action packed video!! Very entertaining! Squee squee squee all the way home and knock Dad off the nest. 😁 Oh my goodness! Have a little respect E22! 😏 Thanks Lady Hawk🌷💞 Take care my friend🫂💙
Thanks Lady Hawk, I'm just enjoying the milestones gained by our E'S and the entertainment that this precious one bring us. I was always confident in M15'S abilities to provide, protect, and to guide his babies. His love for Harriet and their babies caused him to persevere and make it through, well done M15. Harriet has certainly been made Proud. I always look forward to your updates, I'm always eager to see what Dracula Walking is up to for the day, 🤣😂🤣. May the beautiful E21 be soaring high and may our E'S live a long and happy life and find incredible mates.
Kochany E22 ❤,tyle osób się o niego martwiło a on pięknie wyrósł i teraz jedzenie ma tylko dla siebie, by nabrać sił przed odlotem. M15 też spisał się na medal.
Thank you for another Happy Video Lady Hawk.. ❤.. God bless our Wonderful Nest!!.. our Precious Eagles.. And Blessings with Love to you Lovely Lady Hawk ❤️ 💕 💖
🥰💕🌴🦅💕 I missed the E22's exploratory adventures today and I'm so grateful to you for capturing these wonderful highlights and sharing them here, Lady Hawk. 💙💙 It was another blessed day for these two with E22 practicing his flying skills, exploring at the pond and claiming, mantling and eating the delicious food brought by Daddy M15. 💕🏖️🥩🦅💕 What a perfect day!! 👍👍 May God bless them abundantly and watch over them always . 🙏💞🙏 Stay safe and have a good restful night's sleep under divine protection, beloved eagles of our hearts. 🙏✨🦅🦅🦅🌌🙏 Many blessings and hugs to you. 🌺💙🙏🥰🥰💕👑🦅Harriet🦅E21💘🦅E22🦅M15💕🙏
Precious E22 we all love you so much and are so proud of you and your sister ❤ I know your momma is too❤ She had a special soft spot for you, her last baby❤😢Your silly antics keep us all entertained and laughing, especially the dracula walk😅 We hope you stay longer and keep Dad, and all our hearts company ❤❤
Cudowna i kochana rodzinka. ❤🦅🦅🦅❤ Hariett 😢❤
I dread the last sighting of E22. The 'goodbye's are always heart breaking. Watching the SWF Eagles is extremely uplifting. I always wonder where the little ones make their new home.
Lady Hawk, I’ve been watching your videos for several years daily. Unfortunately, I was so heart broke over Harriet that I needed to take a break. I would watch every couple of days because I just had to know if M15 could beat the odds by raising the E’s on his own. I can not tell you the joy I have seeing he did it. He deserves the father of the year hands down. We love you M15.
Hi vicious I totally understand about being heartbroken. I still have not been able to do a tribute video for Harriet - it will be so emotional for me I just didn't want to face it yet. M15 has helped us all so much seeing how he raised both E's so well. It is that silver lining in the clouds that give us hope that a piece of Harriet will forever live on in them ♥
Thank you Lady Hawk for these treasured videos of this family....may the wind be strong beneath your wings and the fish be plentiful for all of your eagle life
Thanks Dad for beinging me food again. M is so good just hopping to the side while his big baby protects his food. That move should get him some food later on.
Is E22, by any chance, the longest staying-at-home eaglet (sorry, I don't know if there'sany specific term for this)? 🤔 Or is it normal to be still hanging around paternal-maternal home? 😅 Of course l, I'd like to see this beautiful baby stay here with us for as long as he/she wants to, but you know I was just wondering of many things).
E22 is right on schedule as for staying still on the nest - E15 stayed for 216 days. E22 is only 124 days old today! I would love for E22 to stick around a while longer - I am not ready to say goodbye yet ♥
E22 ia hilarious .. its like kiddo . he's bringing the food to you . dad could chow down somewhere else if he wanted it for himself .. what a good pops that dad is... i have a feeling E22 is going to be that 30 year old slouching in the parents basement not ever having to work ... but we shall see . the next year or whenever Dad feels that he wants a new mate .. the mom is not going to tolerate a big kid using her future babies food from her hubby .. I guess E 21 has gotten independent .. she/he seemed to have harriett's quiet strength and determination .. E 22 has the perfect spot . there is not that much of a challenge anymore to steal food i guess.. i wonder why there were so many intruders when they were babes but not so much now ....
E21 is being track and doing fine! Feeding off road kill. Hoping she would venture out to the North Charleston, so she can get tag its unlikely. So hoping E22 (Honor)will make his way up North! Harriet last two eaglets! Honor is so much like M15 but has Harriet vocals. These two will survive like I said months ago, E22 has the strong will to survive and now look. He's going to be a fierce warrior! This was a good season, hopefully. They can make a movie out of this since Harriet was a famous raptor!🦅🦅🦅🦅
Lady Hawk, Do you know if E21 is being “Tracked?” It was stated in a comment and if so, I know myself and those that replied as well as All of the other followers and those that Love and Care for this Special Eagle Family would really appreciate knowing this and love to follow him and his future adventures along the way as well as E22 when she eventually leaves the area as well. I was under the impression that they would not be tracked, but I may have misunderstood? If so, again could you please let us know? Thank you so much. 🙏🏻❤️🦅🦅🦅❤️🙏🏻
Hello Chanel the eaglets are not banded or tracked at this nest. The only eagles that had a band was Ozzie (after his injury and rehab) and E8 after his broken femur. Only certain research organizations may band the eaglets like the Institute for wildlife studies IWS over in Catalina Island CA and the AEF for example. The eaglets here at SWFL are on private property. Hope that clears up the confusion you may have seen! Take care and have a great day!
@@ladyhawk Thank you for clarifying. That is what I thought, but just wanted you to reiterate it. Please see that conversion going on on the other video. It is quite concerning. I truly hope E21 is Safe and no harm has come to him 💙🦅💙
@@ladyhawk Hello, The video reference is from May 7 and it is “E22 Plows into Dad and claims Rabbit” Search the comments below a bit until you see Donna Murphy’s comment. She states that E21 is being tracked and being fed “roadkill” It is quite disturbing honestly. It has really made me question her motives and I pray that E21 is Safe. Please do look into this situation, and let me know what you find out if you will please? 🙏🏻 It has been concerning. Thank you so much. You are Wonderful as always LH. ❤️🙏🏻🦅❤️ If you can message me privately please do so. I have an additional question to ask. TY
Hi LH…so do young eagles like 22 not hunt at all off cam? Do they not capture any of their own food or is it still all dad delivering prey at this point? Seems kinda scary to think they don’t practice any hunting at all while at the nest those final few weeks? If we could be flies on their wings and follow them around all day huh? LOLOL
Hi Greg young eagles do start to hunt and some get lucky early on. Finding different types of prey and hunting them takes skill. Hunting a live squirrel is different than finding one dead in the road but all first year juveniles survive that way until they can hunt/fish. They will live off carrion that they find, they will steal food from different sources and they will make a kill here and there to supplement. Once they can fish, their chances of surviving to maturity (age 5) goes up exponentially!! Hunting is a skill that is learned through trial and error and observation - that is something that all the juveniles have to figure out on their own. It does help if they can be around parents to watch them hunt/fish and then other eagles when they are out on their own - that is how they connect the dots!!
@@ladyhawk 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻thanks so much for that detailed reply LH. Very interesting stuff indeed! I just saw where 22 de-furred the tail and thought to myself, it was just yesterday it could barely take in 2 bite fulls!
LADY HAWK, WHEN should 🦅E22 set out on her own??!😮 E21 took off and is feeding itself we suppose!! E22 is still not hunting on her own...Dad keeps feeding her daily and very well!! Should M15 begin to withhold Food at this point??! 🤔MAYBE....Dad is prolonging E22 departure because she's all that left of his Harriet!!?? 😥 Hoping both find Happiness and eventually a loving mate in the future!!🦅🦅💕
Hi Bea - E22 will take off when it is ready to leave ♥M15 will continue to feed E22 until they leave on their own. He is a wonderful Dad and does not withhold food!! No worries on E22 overstaying - only 124 days old. E15 stayed here 216 days!!!!!
I have thought that E22 is definitely a Female. She is massive. She's the size of Harriet. Females are bigger. She reminds me so much of Momma Harriet.
