Interesting idea, ive done a nightsister modding guide, but havent considered doing videos on modding for individual characters until now. I think i might just do that once ive finished my TB series. Thanks a lot for the suggestion! :)

Wow what a cool find. Nice instructions. We are basically doing things the same so I am on the right path. I will save Critical Damage Triangle with no speed if it can increase offensive secondary.
Haha thanks mate. Yeah CD primaries are rare as it is, finding one with speed on is even rarer. So many characters need them you're going to have to sacrifice ideal secondaries often
If you’re going to explain the complete basics of mods it’s probably not best to assume everyone watching has a full Raid Han, Chewie and Nest... but I’m working towards them! Hope to get those nice smuggler mods
Overall, really good and detailed guide. IMO the 6* mods could be explained a bit better. (Again) IMO, for example, 6* mods in order to improve speed secondaries it might not be the best reason to do it for, unless you want to build one or two max speed sets that greatly benefit specific characters (such as JRK, BSF, that are common winning conditions in mirror matches).
This is interesting... I have seen mods staying at speeds 3-5 when they reached blue. A bit later, those same.mods reached +15/+16. I wouldnt immediately discard mods with just 1 or 2 speed increases at blue. Mods with +14/+17 are also very necessary and it isnt out of reach at blue level at all.
I may have missed it, but I would have put a major caveat to choosing mods with no speed at all...as the game proceeds, the % secondary attributes will become increasingly valuable, especially for toons which don't need any added speed e.g. Droideka...so be on the lookout for Mods 4 sets of complementary % secondaries.
swgoh.gg is great, but if you really want to take your mod game to the next level search "Grand Ivory Mod Optimizer". Only PC is supported but some people get it working on mobile devices.
Yup as i said though, i think this has been done right. We get more chances to improve our best mods that may have missed an ideal role on a secondary or two
This is a really good video, only problem is I’m free to play and don’t have access to every character. So I use Darth Nihilus and his leader ability makes it impossible to land crits, so would what type of mods should I farm. I was thinking either speed and offence or speed and health.
You got it! if you're using nihlius lead CC/CD is useless for your chars. You should probably switch to palp lead if you have him, much better lead than nihlius overall
Z - Gaming I got palpatine like a week ago, I’ve been playing since 2016 but stopped a year or so ago and I only picked up the game again because of quarantine. So I’m working on Phoenix and other team for the journey guide events because back when I played you had to wait for like 6 months for the events to come back. But after I gear up palpatine and thrawn I was thinking of switching to Palpatine lead with Vader, Thrawn, Sion and Nihilus.
Been playing for 2 and a half years and i only have 5 mods that are 20+.... i have upgraded all mods i receved to see if they give speed. If its a 4-5 speed i take it upp 2 times if nothing is added to speed i sell it. The rng on gettinf good mods are just shit
Incorrect about primary percentage not being able to have a secondary of percentage of the same type I have a 6A mod Square offense primary % with offense % secondary @ 4.21%
I tot if i get a green mod with speed secondary, at +12 its a guarantee roll up for speed. Apprantly they have changed the rules as compare to a 2017 tutorial i had seen
Yeah that all changed when they released 6E mods. No chance to get guarenteed speed increases anymore but the benefits of slicing often outweigh that with the chance to improve mods you already have leveled to max.
