Nice vid. I was fishing almost this exact setup on the Skykomish last weekend and was absolutely killing it. I was even using tungsten nymph's that I got at your shop last year. Surprisingly had two decent bow's take my dry (indicator) as well. Nice tip on the loop knot. I'll have to try that out.

How "swift" is swift water? Not used hopper dropper often and have difficulty deciding what water is most appropriate for it.

Chubbies are awesome flies to fish by themselves. My go to dry in the day time here in the mtns of Colorado. Browns think they are delicious.

I think all the sizes are important, but in the really heavy currents the #14 seems to be the ticket.
