I cry when I hear this song too. From your last album I like Satellite, another vibe, but I love it, I recommend it. Also, I recommend Walls and Bigger than me by Louis Tomlinson, another member of 1D.

To answer your “who” question, at the time of this album release, Harry’s love/break-up songs were officially linked to Camille Rowe in public discourse. And he referred to Camille as his ex in an interview for Apple Music. Harry has several songs which directly allude to Camille, like “Cherry” and “Part of Me.” I really love the brass on “Part of Me.” But, a large community of fans believes that the “too many songs” he is writing are actually about Louis Tomlinson, another member of 1D. There’s enough evidence to support that they’ve been before and currently are in a private relationship. For example, the Eiffel Tower in the window of this video could be an allusion to Camille who is French-American or to Louis Tomlinson, who likes Paris. Some say that the ship carving on the piano is the french military ship named Royal Louis. I don’t know my ships, sorry. Harry has a ship tattoo on his upper arm, which he got while hanging out with Taylor Swift, so the overflowing piano and the ship could also just represent him and his emotions. Personally, I am firmly in a “larry stylinson” camp because of other songs on this album and his music videos pointing to a queer relationship. Some fans believe the songs are Taylor Swift or Zayn Malik related, but Harry directly alludes to Louis in “Adore Me” and “Golden” music videos from his Fina Line album that includes the song you’re listening to now. And in both “To Be So Lonely” and “She” tracks also from this same album, Harry speaks of Louis when songs are heard in reverse because they and other tracks include blackmasking. We can go down the list of queer coding on the Fine Line album beginning with the pink flamingo button down shirt and the album’s title, but, that was not your question. This song moved me too.
