In this video I try adding a tail to a swimbait to see if it looks better and swims better. www.amazon.com/shop/engineere... / engineeredangler pB5ReGuDlS... / engineered-angler-9424...
Franko, your channel should have a much higher viewer base. You give more solid information about lure design and a complete top-down build from start to finish of the process. I have learned so much from you and truly believe that EVERYONE who makes lures should be subscribed to your channel! You do such a wonderful job of passing along knowledge that this should count towards accredited hours.
I agree, you see these channels that post pure garbage about senseless topics, and they have a half a million subscribers. Now I get that making fishing lures is a small niche of people, but at least it offers value to someone. Keep at it Franco, we appreciate you!
Hello can't wait to see a new lure making video tomorrow Friday 🎣 👍 I love this fishing lures so much beautiful beautiful colors 🎣👍 I wish you could make me one of this fishing lures for Pier fishing 🎣
I'm in the process of designing a 3-piece swimbait. I just re-watched parts 1 & 2 or your Swimbait Master Class, and this episode was icing on the cake for me! Thanks again Franko.
In my country Italy we have a say: "one hundred you think, one thousand you do"... May sounds mean less in English however, Franco, a volcano of ideas that never rests, simply genius!!!!!
Looks like the tail takes out some side to side action from the middle section and kind of transfers it throughout the whole lure to the tie on eye, maybe it would work a bit better on 3 or 4 part lure (tail included into nuber of parts) and transfer that action more on the 1st hinge. Still, this is some really nice action and that paint job is fantastic.
Why not make tail from soft flexible plastic. That same plastic that newer squid jigs have for their fins. Fish wont feel it and it wouldnt reduce lure action as much as hard tail.
Hello Franco, first of all I want to congratulate you for this channel and for sharing your knowledge. I learned a lot with you, thanks! About this video, I have a question regarding the UV curing time. You mentioned you use about 3 hours of curing to resolve the “sticky” issue. I have my self made curing cabinet, but after 1 hour working it gets very hot and I fear this could cause it to malfunction or burning. My question is, if I divide the time into half hours (using cool rest intervals) until completing the 3 hours of curing, will it work like the 3 hours continuous? Thanks, one more time 👍👍
Hi Franco, Sorry if I ask here a question out of subject. In many videos you explained how to calculate the density of a given material and, from there, go on, calculate weight to add and so on. What about lure made by resin and microbaloons? How do you calculate the density, just the given resin or resin and microbaloons together? Thanks 🙏 so much won't be enough!!!!!!!!!
You can just hang them in the light but you might get some sagging. You can turn them for a while on a turner then hang them in the light...that will give you a little better finish.
