We stayed at the National hotel which is just in front of the beach and also close to the shops and restaurants. The hotel features two pools, one of which is a narrow but long infinity pool which was my favorite. The water was clear and we were there early so we got the pool almost to ourselves.
The beach itself was good as well, it was clean and some beach chairs provided by the hotel and you can rent a bed near beach as well if you want to hang around near the shore. The beach was very shallow, 10 meters from the shore, it's still about waist deep. Aside from your occasional seaweed the water was clean, clear and warm.
