What an adventure. We loved visiting the Galapagos! So cool swimming with the penguins! Bartolomé was one of our favorite islands. We just couldn’t get enough of the Galagapos. How was your over all experiences?

Hands down our fav place we have visited so far- already trying to figure out how to go back for longer. The diving there was out of control

really exciting to see what's there. Were you restricted to snorkeling or was it just logistics that prevented scuba diving this time?

We were restricted to snorkeling on this trip- not sure if anyone goes diving there. We had to do a land tour on our last day b/c we can't dive the day before flying, otherwise we would have dived every single day- it was so amazing. Snorkeling with penguins wasnt so bad though haha

Those marine iguanas are so freaking cool. We use to have beardies that swam just like them!

We used Eagle Ray Tours for the tour and also diving. They were able to get us all setup for the day!

Did you get to scuba with the sea iguanas? I was wondering if they swim away or hangs around and let you film them close up.

We unfortunately did not get a chance to see them. Definitely still on our bucket list

Is there a best time of year to see the Hammerheads? When I google it all I find is info about liveaboards but not day trips from the islands. :/

We aren’t sure if there’s a best time of the year but we went in February and there seemed to be no problems finding them

Can you recommend any vegan restaurants in Galapagos(san cristobal, Santa Cruz and Isabella)?

There weren’t a ton of options but the one we fancied the most was in Puerto Ayora at a place called Midori. We are there almost exclusively since it was close to our Airbnb and had good food!
