One of my partners bucket list experiences has been to swim with sharks, and for her birthday i booked the Shark Dive Experience at Bear Grylls Adventure in Birmingham. Finally she is swimming with sharks!
Bear Grylls Experience, located by thge NEC in Birmingham, is an amazing place packed full of things to do including high ropes, axe throwing, archery, shooting, diving experiences, snorkling, wall climbing and more. I was super impressed with the set up, and it wasnt too busy which was nice!
The shark dive lasted for 120 mins, comprising of training and 25mins in the aquarium swimming with sharks, rays and fish.
truly a brilliant experience and im sure we will be back to do it all over again real soon.

I did this, they don’t allow you to swim because there would be too many people splashing around at once in a confined space and would be disruptive for the fish. 5 every hour so it makes sense - it’s meant to be for beginners so if you were swimming you’d have another thing to think about and lots of obstacles to dodge

@@naschy7336 Hi did you get a PADI certificate? Does it mean you can scuba dive abroad and skip the beginner lesson?

You won’t get a PADI certification for this. For the Open Water qualification (the usual beginner level) you have to do 1-2 days in a pool plus 4 open water dives spread over another 2 days.
