Swimming With Stingrays in the Cayman Islands (60p) 

if you listen very closely to the audio, you might hear static electrical noise. that's the camera's microphone reacting to the stingray's electrical pulses. they use these to sense prey's muscle movements, as muscle tissue is an electrically conductive tissue. stingrays come up to people because we produce lots more electrical impulses proportionate to our body size, which they don't often get to be around. basically? they're super curious about humans since we give off lots of electrical impulses that they find fascinating.

I went swimming with stingrays in Cayman island as well, we were on a cruise.

I actually experienced this many years ago.

For some reason stingrays look like they have more fun swimming than do fish .

How is this safe though???
