Love that you actually asked about the issue about the welfare of the whale sharks. Oslob has been on my bucket list for the longest time, but i got discouraged when I learned about the environmental issues. Thank you for info that they are actually doing something for the whale sharks. I love your travel vlogs! They mean much more than other travel vlogs because we get the feel of how to travel to these places with a toddler. 😊

i went to oslob last feb and there were like 4 whale sharks that time. you're right, it was a wonderful and humbling experience and i wanna do it again and again. olivia's sooo brave! i can't wait to you Oli 😘😘

Hi Andi!! I'd like to suggest how you do the subtitles when Olivia's talking. Maybe just put like the whole text and not per word cause we usually just want to look at how cute she is and not be able to catch up on what she's saying cause it's edited per word. Anywayyy, love you!! 💙💙

Mas okay pumunta sa donsol. Sa oslob kasi pinapakain nila yung mga whale sharks para sa mga turista. Para pagkakitaan. Kaya nga sila may pictures with the whale shark. Not all the time naman mababait yung mga turista. May mga times din naman na nasstress yung mga whale sharks. Sa donsol hindi ganun. They dont feed them. Hinahaayan lang ng sila mga fishermen. May mga whalesharks doon na sanay na sa mga tao. Nagpapakita sila for a little bit then lulubog again. For me mas okay yun. Makikita mo at maeexperince mo yung whale sharks in the right way.
Katrina Crisostomo there's an NGO that handles it in Oslob. LAMAVE. They are the others taking care of the whale sharks actually in be philippines even in Donsol so what the fishermen are doing its being overseen my them plus they are protected too :)
