Who are Kara and Nate?!
Watch our documentary here: • 100th COUNTRY DOCUMENTARY
Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married 2013 and were super “normal.” I was a teacher and Nate started a small printing business from the spare bedroom of our apartment. We discovered the world of “travel hacking” & became obsessed. So after 2 years of obsessively saving $35k and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016 for a “one year” trip around the world. Our goal was to see as many places as possible before we ran out of money and went home to “normal life.” We started this travel vlog to share our experiences with friends and family, but quickly fell in love with this lifestyle and did everything we could to keep going. 4 years later, we achieved our new goal of visiting 100 countries and all 7 continents. We had no plans to slow down, until 2020 forced us to ;) Which is when we bought a converted van to start exploring our own country for the first time. Van life was a major adjustment and so different than flying every week like we were used to, but we are incredibly thankful to be able to continue doing something we love every day. 😊🎥🌎

Really glad those are resident orcas that you went diving with. The size of their pod, the rounded dorsal fins, they also hugged the shore, and the fact that they were very vocal shows they were resident orcas ❤❤. Very lucky.

Also, it needs to be mentioned that your video editor is doing her job SO WELL! The clip choices with the audio clips were placed perfectly! Great job Brooke (I think that's your name). There was a major change in video quality when Kara and Nate hired a dedicated video editor and that should notngo unnoticed. Not that Kara wasn't doing a great job but it's evident that making videos is an art form for you Brooke!

Orcas are one of the most fascinating and beautiful creatures on this earth. The way they connect with their pod , the complex hierarchy and the way the pod protects and values their young. Thank you for taking us along

I don't normally comment, but the best thing just happened while I was watching this video, it was for me anyway, it really made me smile. It was the intro, and I had left my subtitles on without realising, and it goes to a clip in the water where the orcas are talking, and I'm not joking, the subtitle for this orca speech came up as 'foreign', brilliant! Plus this is a dream come true, every single bit of it, absolutely amazing, thankyou for sharing an experience many of us will never have in real life, but also inspire us to go out and have more experiences that make us truly happy

That's what i thought. These magnificent landscapes, glorious sunrises and sunsets, the impressive powerful animals, the delicate and intricate snow flakes, etc... they take our breath away! I couldn't close my mouth for 70% of the video i was amazed! The creator of all of this is preparing a dwelling place for us to be with Him (the Master Architect and Designer of all this!!!) The things we see on this earth are but a foreshadow of what will be up there! Ugghhhhh! I can't! 🥰🥰🥰🙌🙌🙌

Kara and Nate, this is has to be one of my most favorite videos you have ever shared. I love experiencing this with you both as I don't think I'll ever be lucky enough to do this. Thank you so much for bringing us all along on these incredible experiences. As a kid of the 90's who grew up during the Free Willy era and who lived in the little town of Newport Oregon, that the Orca that was Willy in the movie was brought to our aquarium to help rehabilitate him, I visited Keiko the Orca at the aquarium every Monday with my mom and fell in love with Orcas. The first clip of you both getting into the ocean and the camera slipping beneath the water to reveal them just swimming all around you gave me chills at how amazing that was. So thank you again for continuing to bring us all on your adventures!
