Not in bullet necessarily since it's so speed dependant..and Hikaru plays at GM level moving at a second turn... 2200 bullets have the speed but their quality of play is way way way worse..way worse than what a normal 2200 would be..they're like 1700 who don't think before they move they just move

I play at 1700 bullet and the games aren't even instructional for me until about this level cause until now people were just so slow and made too bad of blunders ..now it's finally slowed down he like gets a game..as he says he's gotta be accurate..at this level people can still blast you if you slip

2150 while still sacking for a pawn and counting. The way he time pressures opponents when they have winning positions is insane. This speedrun is so much fun, can't wait to see the push to 3000.

in Utah, students at least k--6, but i think k-12, still have to say pledge of allegiance. I got in trouble when I did it once in elementary school over the announcements one day cause I ad libed an "amen" at the end... (atheist with nontraditional patriotism in Utah here)

he usually plays variations of the hippo defense! from the starting hippo defense position, he often plays a6 and/or h6, and castles and move the king to a7 or h7.

I am about 2400 and I beat stockfish 16 without a queen 10 out of 10 in bullet. maybe hikaru is better than the computer because he can set up plays and do traps that are not objectively the best moves

For example, he closes the position down to make it longer, maneuvering game, and avoids unnecessary trades -- even if it contradicts the engine's top move. He also usually doesn't play for a draw, which can go against the engine.
