Stunning !!! I had a few questions what do you recommend instead of liquid nails since I would want to take it apart for transport and storage. Same question for the rope and nail do you just cut it off and use a new rope every time? Really want to do this for my babies party

You can try a fast acting super glue that you can apply at the venue, and a mullet would help secure the pipes as well. As far as the rope, you can just slide it off and on from either side of the stand...like taking off a piece of clothing. Hope this helps.

I get the aesthetic of the idea, but wouldn’t it be more practical if it was a stationary swing? You’d get the visual without having to worry about wind and people knocking over your desserts. Cool idea

Hi Tara! I love watching your diys! You are so creative! I’ve also been seeing this trend lately particularly with the wedding cake chandeliers. You really did a great job. The set-up is super cute but the swing makes me nervous. Is it weighted down like they do with the wedding cakes to minimize movement? I’m looking forward to seeing how you create your wedding swing. Yes, I will not recommend this for a large cake. Large cakes are better hanging from the ceiling:)

I not sure how i feel about a swinging treat table sounds like a problem waiting to happen BUT question. Couldn't you add hot glue or E600 to tue top so it would not swing?

Hi, love tutorial as always!!:) I have a quick question...could u just have used the same stand that u used for the balloon arch some weeks back? Or are these pvc pipes different measurements?

Hi! Trust me, I thought about it, but the balloon arch stand is thinner, and wider. I wanted the opposite for this project. I wanted a thicker, and sturdier pipe, and a much narrow top for a tighter fit with the wood I already had = less movement :)
