Don't need a video. Look at the dot that appears on the radar when it spots a target; a single dot is an enemy, and 2 dots (one above the other) is a friendly.
I really wish they could get the radar overlays figured out in VR, and it'd be great if we could finally get a proper lead indicator inside the plane's HUD.
For me MLD is amazing, got 11-0 match in Denmark, Only normal search and LD has IFF. MTI doesn't so what I do is climb to 2000m go to look down and go to 60km only you nail LD angle you will see every one. Dogfights imo are bad idea since you loose speed and another guy can come and kill you when you are tunnel visioned, dogfight usually with 50% wings only 0% for f5e and C and semi viggen
Something I've noticed with the R24R's they seem to have a dogfight mode when you lock someone through ACM. It started pulling immediately off the rails as opposed to the the brief 1 second pause. Don't know if that's an actual fact or me just seeing things 😅 final point/question, do you use manual wing sweep?
I'm not sure about US servers, but the rule for attacking aircraft "we" use is, "Always ID your target, if your not sure, don't fire." , "If you can't name the plane, you haven't IDed yet." also marking a location and using this "on me" responce to state a friendly is nearby or not. Personally, I've seen AV-8A's are the biggest culprite.
So mld costs 27k sl to spawn in sim it has good radar 2 op missiles but the j7e does not even have a radar no bvr missiles decent missile and they are dogs hit under 1.5km no iff gl identifying German bis n Russian bis until u get super close and how much does the j7e cost ? 61k sl that's even more than the f4e lol balanced my a$$
