Following an MOT fail for seized rear brake and a tyre below legal limits, this is part 2 in the series of me refurbishing the rear brake and taking the opportunity to refurb the swing arm on my 22 year 87k mile Honda Deauville 650.
I picked up a spare swing arm and bevel drive for 25 quid last year. Plan is to powder coat it and fit this winter when my rear tire will be near the end of its life, which will give me chance to powder coat that too while it's off. Make sure to attach some sort of mudguard/flap to the inside of the wheel well to protect the monoshock and dreaded bottom bolt which is prone to seizing. Rob Davis has a guide I think on his web resource 👍
@@sandywithasavage hi Eddie I ought a phone holder that has a screw mount feature and drilled 2 holes in the right hand speaker panel. I.m working away at mo but will take some pictures at weekend and send them to you with a link
Thanks Jim A bike shed is on the agenda but a bike lift may have to wait a little while.. It was hard enough getting permission for a bike shed off her who must be obeyed let alone a lift 😂
