For any one having a trouble importing the "RecyclerViewSwipeDecorator" , try to use the previous versions 1.2.3 in github. Worked for me

What If I want to implement certain functionality depending on the status of the Item... I also want to include delete as a functionality. I implemented a function to checkstatus(boolean) in the adapter but when I delete and item the function gives me index outoff bound error.

Archiving was an example, if u want data in different fragments the use ViewModel as it lasts for the Lifecycle of the activity and every fragment can use it.

As I have used string to store the value, in ur case u can use the model object to store the object.
