I created this video with the RU-vid Video Editor ( / editor ) I use Swirling Paint from Magic Marble Paints. No Borax used. This guitar gad a twisted neck so it was made into a Custom Guitar Wall Hanger.
Wow,there’s so many negative comments. Who cares what song is in the background, that isn’t what’s important anyway. What’s important is that this dude showed me something I’d never seen before and I’m amazed. I’ve only recently picked up guitar and seeing one being painted with a crazy design is fascinating. Good job dude I liked it.
Same every time with these swirls, potentially pleasing circles all broken up and twisted into a visual migraine, would've loved to have seen it dipped at 2.30
I liked it better when it was concentric rings. I think the colors fit better with a bit more defined of a pattern. A little too 'swirly' for my tastes. The blue one looks nice, though.
This guitar looks awesome! Nice work man. I don't understand the negative feedback about your method or music or anything, I didn't see any problems with it. You did an awesome guitar the way you wanted it and showed us the process. Thank you for this, I really enjoyed You just got another sub too
I cant be the only person who cracked up at the awful guitar music. One of the bends was so horribly out of tune it sounded like a clown playing a toy trumpet.
I must say, that's some nice work, there. My sister has been doing Turkish Water Marbling for almost 50 years now. Kind of a dying trade that's trying to make a small comeback. While she has done some freeform designs like this, her speciality is the more ornate, combed designs, like you would see on the inside covers of an old book. I'll have to see if she can paint an old Tele body that I have had sitting around for far too long.
The colors look great! I noticed it wasn't spray paint. What kind of paint/brand did you use and the water looked dark and not just clear?! Did you also add something to the water beforehand? I want to get into dipping skateboards but this paint looks really great for the guitar! Cheers
This paint Magic Marble would work great. The water is just plain clear it just looks dark because the tank is dark gray. Magic marble paints don’t require any additional additives to the water. Some of my other videos have more information for you. Thanks for Watching
I just Wanted to tell you something. Your Video helped me to get into that technique ans the Resultat are so supersuperawesome! I Feel grateful for that, i wanted to let you know that. Im TSIMOSTUTTGART on instagram, i Paint Graffiti simce 1997, if you want to i would Draw a Canvas for you as a thank-you-gift ❤
I tried this twice, came out bad both times, i leaned very quick that the amount of borax, the kind of paint and the water temperature all have to be correct or it won't come out nice, great job, looks awsome.
Thanks Scott. The paints I use are Magic Marble which doesn’t require any Borax. I could never get the Borax method to work for me. Everything else you said is so True, I actually have a water chiller to keep my temperature correct.
anishanob I use Magic Marble paints which I liked because you just use it with water and not have to add Borax. I could never get the Borax method to work.
hola amigo ...muy bueno tus videos.....soy de argentina.. quiero saber si podes enseñarme y decirme que tipo de pinturas usas? Hello friend ... very good your videos ..... I'm from argentina .. I want to know if you can show me and what kind of paintings do you use?
