I don't know how safe the non av-geeks would feel flying on a Bomberbus but I certainly would love it! Great video and I loved the chrome finish on those seats!

Being an Australian I could have shown you how to use the tap to get the perfect beer ( we learnt it at school!!) Love that engine roar on take off !! Food on offer looked great on such a short flight !! Lovely views as well !! Great review mate and really enjoyed the video !!

I love Swiss and especially love their E lounges at Zürich airport. I literally flew LHR-ZRH-BKK and what’s annoying was the day I flew the Swiss flight was full so I booked myself on the Thai Airways flight... even though Thai Airways do two daily flights to BKK from LHR. But it was worth it due to my Star Alliance gold status. This was my experience: United lounge at LHR pretty good, nice shower facilities. Swiss flight to ZRH on the A321 very nice, great legroom. Swiss Senator Lounge at Terminal E bloody excellent. Amazing whisky bar, made-to-order food, fresh omelette, AND THE TERRACE WAS OPEN!!! Thai flight to Bangkok; I looked like a bit of a dick because they treated me better in eco (TGROP gold privilege) got a welcome by name, meal served first, and the purser invited me to see the Crew rest compartment before landing! Oh, and Because the ticket was booked through Swiss, they blocked the seat next to me for some reason. So I had no neighbour. Funny enough the guy in the window seat (I was in the aisle) was pretty confused when I started unpacking my things into the middle seat even though when he checked in online he saw the two seats were occupied. He was bloody lucky. Always a great experience with SWISS and I look forward to flying them after the pandemic.

I love the Bombarbus it's a really small modern plane that get's the job done.

I was very disappointed on my first trip on a 100 series in Business Class - the knee room was way below par, and was the same for subsequent flights. HOWEVER, for some reason on the 300 it was fine. Interesting to see that they have finally fitted the curtains as they really do have a significant effect on cabin noise.

I flow the same flight last year in October and the experience was the same as yours. I will fly in November Alain with Swiss in First Class to Singapore.

I had forgotten how nice Zurich was from a plane. I guess probably because when I flew there back in 2009 I think it was partly cloudy when we landed but still was able to see the scenery. Although going back home (to the US) it was cloudy and a bit foggy (it was in November so basically winter months) that day so we didn't see much, but that's fine because the time spent there was great and I got to see a lot as it was, and a great experience (would definitely like to go back some day again and really check it out -- was only there for about 4 days for a family wedding). I think go-arounds may be quite common here as we had a go-around as well (we were in an A340 though as it was a non-stop flight from Chicago) and my sister and brother mentioned a few go-arounds on flights they took when going there so I'm not sure if maybe that area is more succeptible to winds and other things that may create issues for landing aircraft. The odd thing is when we landed it didn't look like anything bad (weather-wise) so my thought was probably just gusty winds perhaps.

You asked what airline we liked. I must say that I am impressed of the Polish Airline LOT.

I was supposed to be flying on this Zurich-London in December but currently it’s changed to an A320. Probably because it’s popular route so need bigger planes but was still gutted

Lucky you Noel, my flight next week from Rome to Zurich on the CS300 (yes, that is what was on my booking) has been swapped out for the ubiquitous A320. Bummer!

If it's labeled a CS300 on the safety card, it might actuyally be a CS300. The program had been going for 10 years when Airbus aquired it, so this is very likely.

Ref Favorite European Airline - when it comes to Economy or BClass - Aeroflot that operates proper short-haul BClass product with spacious seats, proper menu catered service, amenity kits, noise-canceling headphones, blankets, pillows etc. As for Economy - a choice of 2 hot dishes with complimentary booze (wine or beer) and several rounds of drinks services. None of EU-27 BASED carrier can compare to Aeroflot in that sense.

The 220 definitely seems like a 737 and 320 killer. Will Boeing and Airbuses new clean sheets really just replace the 321? If so, Boeing will need ANOTHER clean sheet small plane..or buy Embraer..or abandon the small plane market?

I have to disagree. In 2017 I did a London to Lisbon, Lufthansa outbound and TAP/Swiss return. Lufthansa boarding was very poor and the meals identical. A poor lounge compared with BA. TAP was really good, great food and service, though a basic lounge. Swiss was really poor. Slow service, a tiny meal and 1 drink. Imo, BA is the best European biz class, though TAP is not far behind.
