Switzerland and France are deeply interconnected culturally and economically. Both are Schengen member states, even though Switzerland is not part of the EU and Eurozone. Even though there is a free flow of personal movement, border posts are still necessary as trade and movement of goods has to be monitored. Today, I will take you on a drive around Geneva (CH), Ferney Voltaire (FR), Collex Bossey (CH) and Divonne (FR) and we will explore the region's history and culture a little bit.
