Wow!!!! Switzerland is stunningly beautiful! Thanks for the video. I literally felt like jumping off the train and run up and down those beautiful hills with all that wonderful looking greenery.. Wow! Even winter would look amazing in Switzerland.. I bet.
Christmas season in Switzerland is the most beautiful. The city surrounded by the beautiful mountains. The people would be all over the places shopping, dineout, and hangout. Lots of tourists from all over the world and the neighboring countries. Switzerland fashion is highly recommended. Jewelries are most valuable!
Let's face it. The Swiss people (of German, French and Italian extract) are a people of industry and thrift. It was most fitting, therefore, that they become the custodians and caretakers of this most beautiful piece of landscape, a land endowed by God with some of the most breathtaking and spectacular natural scenic beauty on earth! The Swiss people have built complementary mountain chalets and railroad cars and mountain lifts, with trim roads and mountain trails for, both, hikers and bikers. No other people on earth could have done it better!

The scenery there in Switzerland is beautiful, traveling by train in Switzerland, France, Italy, Austria, Germany, Spain, Norway where my late maternal grandfather came from is the best way to see the countryside. When I travel long distance in the U.S. & Canada, I travel by Amtrak & ViaRail.
Herrlich gemacht und gezeigt. Alpine wonders of buildings and transport improvements are what the human can and does achieve, here is special but so is Canada and many other places in the world. They have done it for us to enjoy, so treasure it, not ruin it with wars etc.
i love travelling to varous countries in their railways system and know which railway is giving good performance in all activities and fields .i watch all vedios relating to railways and judging the best photography and length of filmed vedios too

Of course for most of us that like to watch travel videos on rail in Europe - many have this silly background music. But this video has normal conversations as you'd hear on a train. That, to me, makes the entire video So much better. I do, however, wish you'd video taped the expressions and such of the passengers as you were traveling in areas not really worth filming for this. Otherwise - a really good video on traveling Europe !!

Yes you are right. The first train is a highspeed train from Zurich HB (city) to Chur which is the capital of the canton Graubunden. From Chur there are smaller panoramic train travelling to St.Moritz, Tirano, Andermatt and other beautiful scenic regions of Switzerland.
Looks real to me and I was there last month. Swiss trains are great, but the first class ride I had on an Italian train was pretty nice, that thing ran around 300 kph. Nice clean spacious cabin. Reserved seats too, of all things.
Heaven couldn't possibly be more beautiful. Switzerland is indeed the veritable heaven on earth. Equally remarkable is the way the denizens have worked towards retaining it's pristine beauty, and I exhort them to continue doing so. They truly epitomize the adage "cleanliness is next to godliness" .Nature has undoubtedly drenched their country with it's myriad bounties. In fact nature has been kind to every part of earth by beautifying it in various different ways. Be it with mountains, oceans, forests, deserts et.al. It is therefore the responsibility of every human being to preserve every aspect nature, and not destroy it by mindlessly plundering it's fragile resources. Man should never forget that nature provides amply for everyone's need, but not for their greed. Human beings should always remember that they are merely tenants on this planet, and are expected to desist from defiling this beautiful home which nature has been so kind in bestowing them with so that future generations could also enjoy their sojourn in this cradle of nature.
I still don,t know how they have not got involved in WW2 it was so close and still they did not take part in it. That is what makes the country and it,s people so special to me and I come from Austria and live in Australia. It,s nice and peaceful too!
+shirin zebo I live there. Yes, it's very expensive, but the salaries are the best in the world ! The medium swiss salary is about 6000$ per Month ! I can tell you a list of beautiful cities or villages : Lausanne, Montreux or Neuchâtel are little cities juste accross the lake ! Verbier, Crans-Montana, Zermatt, Gstaad are beautiful mountain villages ! They are very nice, but very touristic ! Zürich is a Nice medium city, with luxuary shops and nice places to visit ! There is an airport too. Luzern is a nice little city with typical buildings ! Genève (or Geneva, it's same) is a nice medium city accross the lake ! There is also an airport. Basel is a medium city with an airport. And in Switzerland you can go everywhere with public transport, like trains, buses, tramways or subways. @hoosiertim, These are 2 different train rides? The first one seems to be the high-speed train, the second is a tourism train? If so, what city does the tourism train originate in?

The first one is a double-deck-train, and from this trains are differnt versions. Some called Town-Trains, they're fast and serve only towns, and some are regional trains, they serve the Villages between the Towns. The second is a regional train that runs between Chur and St. Moritz. But there also Trains from Chur to Davos. Theyre Named RHB or Räthian Train (Räthische Bahn). They run only in Kanton Graubünden.(Or latin word: Rhätia)
