Switch to Double Edge Razor | Step 3 

First time I shaved with gillette presto for couple of times then I shifted to gillette guard and used it for 2-3 years after that I started using multi blade setup such as gillette mach 3 and then gillette fusion. After watching your videos I started my wet shaving journey and started with gillette 7’O clock permasharp and now I can easily use metal DE razors but the mild ones . double edge razor shaving ke liye uska specific lather solution bhi hota hai. I love traditional wet shaving and double edge razors. 😊

Please tell me whether gillate sterling can be used without the metal plate for precision shaving.

I think Gillette Sterling is the best starter razor. Gillette Sterling has its own issues. It works well mainly with Gillette platinum and Wilkinson Sword. I feel Sterling is a aggressive and unsmooth shaver. I've got cuts using it. It gave me more issues than my R41.

Have you tried Gillette fusion 5 if yes then is it better than de?

In my experience Bombay metalic razor 🪒 is good , 👍 before I was using Gillette guard but nowi forget Gillette guard
