Why do we use a neutral wire? I just found you on RU-vid and have already watched 6 videos. I like the way you explain things.

So having 2 switched outlets in same room that's controlling both outlets with split tabs, doesn't both switches have to be on to operate a lamp from one of the outlets with switch on? so in other words if I am to use a lamp turning on the switch that the other switch in the room has to be on as well in order to make the other switched outlet work to turn on the lamp?

I have a single switch in my living room which is connected to an outlet. Both plugs are controlled by the switch. Can i convert the outlet to both plugs to be live, and eliminate the use and cover up the switch?
