I was at the concert where Switchfoot and Jason Wade preformed this live for the first time. It was right after Hurricane Harvey devastated the Texas gulf coast. I don't think they still know how much that concert meant to us.

I have to say that Lifehouse have been my favourite band since the mid 2000s, but I'd only ever heard "meant to live" and "dare you to move" from Switchfoot. Been listening to Switchfoot during lockdown and absolutely loving this band 😎👍
I love switchfoot, its probably one of my most favorite bands because every album is better than the previous one or at least different and more evolved with each one. Jon Foreman has solo albums too which are great too. He's a very talented lyricist

I simply love Jon´s voice in this song; in the first stanza and its final "you shine like gold"!, the sound is relaxed, cute and styled at the same time…, and then his voice jumps to sharp notes. The whole song is amazing; I love it!!!!!

If I was born as a Muslim I would have worshipped with the same fervor that I did as a Christian. If all people are equally loved by God, why do some people start so handicapped as to believe in false gods, especially when the stakes of eternity are so high?
God does not force us to believe in Him. If we were all born in a Christian environment, it would be harder to make a personal choice on if we think God is real or not. At some point, we all make our own decision of who to believe in - I believe that we are all given an opportunity to say yes to God.
