I am actually a guy that you can describe as religious, but I have found that to love Switchfoot you only need two things, to be a human and to be honest with yourself
I was looking over the internet the songs best suited for someone who just turned 24 today and I came across to this song recommendation. Randomly clicked a video from youtube and I was directed to a music video uploaded four years ago on June 10. I cant believe I'm listening to a music video uploaded on a same day of my birthday. Waaahh
I know I had the poor spirit, but when listening to Switchfoot reminds me I'm just as much as normal as them, poor in spirit - trying making sense of their existence. :)
Fond memories of listening to this song on repeat during a snowy countryside van ride, mama's coat on my sunshined lap, rambling down rural roads and revisiting the past.
My wife and I saw them last week... I am 58, not religious, really... I love this band!!! Their energy, their message, it's what we all need more of...
Being a huge Switchfoot fan, this song has had a huge impact on me since I first listened to this band in high school. I’m seeing them in concert in March and I’m hoping he plays this live! I will cry my eyes out😭
Come to Brazil, yr crazy fellas! I just hate you all, my 24 bday is coming and all I wanted was to listen this on that day. Despite of all, my world is very better with you guys on it. You inspire me and I pray the Lord to give me his blessings like He does with you in your ministry. Thank you, buddies.
You don't need to be religious. Jesus is and was not religious. He just wants a relationship with us ;like anyone else. Swithfoot is all about faith; not religion. That is why I love them so much!!
The first? Wow! That's pretty impressive, considering that this song is a lot harder than just standard open chords. Or did you learn a simplified version of it?
