A long time ago, I heard music while lying in bed. Shofar music. Nothing anyone near me would ever play. At around 3 AM. It kept going for an hour as I laid there. And God said, "This is the sound of My love" (paraphrased). He basically told me that His love was the song I was hearing. I wonder if the singer knows what's up. When I heard this, it took me back to that moment!

I didn't even know Switchfoot was a Christian band, and I don't care about any labels on any bands. This song is extremely beautiful and powerful. I literally feel love flow through me in the choruses. Thankyou for that Switchfoot. And... I love the SoCal vibes. For anyone who doesn't know, switchfoot is a term for using your non dominants side while skating or surfing (right handed people lead with their left foot, and left handed people lead with their right foot.. switchfoot means you practice your weak side, to become capable of either). If you don't know a SoCal beach on a sunny day in January, please experience it. And don't just look at the ocean... go into it (but be safe and understand rips currents.. they're easy if you understand them, don't ever panic, swim parallel to shore, it's over in 60 seconds). Between the hot sand, the hot sun, the cold water, and powerful waves, you will be transformed. You will know love and respect that you never knew before.
