@@ukayhemi6385working hard would not get buddy a scat honestly. Not to be negative but he said hes about to be 18. No bank is financing him. Only way he’s getting a loan is if his parents cosign him. His parents would have to be damn near rich to finance that for a 18 year old because of the debt to income ratio assuming that they also have financed/leased cars themselves. On top of that imagine the insurance cost for a 18 year old with a scat in Texas. He would have to be on his parents insurance and if he crashes, his parents insurance is going through the roof. So once again they would damn near have to be rich to do that for him. Used scats at 40k miles is going for $45k+ , 60k mile scats you could find for $35k+. And if he got one with a crap ton of miles that would honestly be stupid because that means somebody drove them how they were meant to be driven so he would be financing a literal ticking time bomb. Good luck to him though honestly.
