I bought an S24 ultra and I actually love it way more than my iphone to be honest. Once RCS messaging becomes the standard then I can't see myself using iphone as the main device anymore. It will turn into my work phone and the s24 with be the daily driver. Hope you're feeling better Andres!
As an American you should be ashamed for supporting Chinese company and economy. Ur actions are directly contributing for the support of CCP and the threat of democracy. Support companies at home eventhough they demand ur organs cuz only by supporting those companies we can care about our homeless citizens and help them consume drugs in healthy does to keep them safe and support our kids to transition in their young years
What do you find better on S24U than your iPhone ( I hope it’s a recent model ) cause I got myself the 15 pro max in blue and because I had a terrible nah horrible experience with android I can’t see myself rocking a Android device
@lecoindefazen I have a 15 Promax. Honestly it's just a nice change of pace. There really aren't as many differences as there used to be. The iPhone has been pretty much exactly the same since the 11 or 12. The biggest leaps forward for apple was really in the software department (minus siri 😆) Google assistant is leaps and bounds ahead of siri. Also the fact I can customize some of the stupid nuances where I wouldn't be able to on ios is a huge plus.
@@notsmg I got what your thinking 💭 but for myself and because I love niche apps that are useful I can personalize my 15 pro max wayyy more than you can imagine, google assistant is available too and can be used by setting it up on your Action button which I personalized wayyyy too far, the design hasn’t changed that much Apple are kinda lazy with that but like Japanese car brands they changed just what people need to obtain a certain amount of perfection. And the biggest + to me is the fact that I now have pro res and Log to record with and these features will help me create content this year because I want to launch socials accounts
I switched from iPhone 15 pro Max to Galaxy S24 Ultra. I do not regret it and I still was so surprised how much you can customize. Also my whole smartphone behavior changed. And I as an Apple fanboy am asking myself: Is Apple just prestige? I love the exprience on the Galaxy S24 Ultra and how much Samsung & Google evolved after the last 10 years
I made the same switch, gereat phone. But the standby Drain and AlwaysON Batterylife and Android Car Are use so much battery. I only get about 3-4hrs SOT. With previos 14 Pro Max same Usage min. 5 hrs.
@@kasten8020 yes the always on display on Galaxy is draining often about 10% of Battery. While on iPhone the battery lastet more than 36 hours, the Galaxy seems to lasr just about 24 hrs with same usage
The evolution of samsung has been drastic of the past few years. Such a better experience imo compared to like 8 years ago. Even 5 years ago imo. This why people are starting to switch because its THAT good.
This is the best switching video you have ever made Andres! As an Android user myself, I can tell that you have gone to great lengths and did tons of research to make this video, I really appreciate that. By the way, you can directly go to quick settings by swiping with two fingers from the top of the phone.
Really great video to help people move over to the samsung experience! I myself recently left the apple ecosystem totally over to the samsung ecosystem, and so far never looked back! They are not that long behind from the apple experience! Also samsung smart switch made the transition easy!
People, is it me, but like how this guy goes through the settings in his phone, touch this touch that click this 2 times click this 3 times this guy IS THE BEST!!!
This guy Andres is the reason why I switched to S24Uc after more than a decade of using iPhone and as an Apple fan boy. I didn’t regret switching, thank you Andres for convincing me and helping me out with my decisions. 🤩
My favorite RU-vidr I’ve been watching your videos pretty much since the beginning, you upload every single video I used to watch shevon salmon Until I came across you every single video you make it looks like a Netflix documentary
after 7 years of being note user, last year i siwtched to iphone for a change. I love how fast iphone is but cant do some basic things i am used to woth samsung. 1. Multitasking 2. Customization 3. When someone share a contact in watsapp, you still need to save it for you make a call 4. If you make a type its difficult to go into the middle of thr word to correct. You end up deleting the test and retype 5. Swipe gestures - it was easy to go back on pages by swipe gestures.
Bro i would like to correct u. You can easily customize the notification and quick panel setting. For enable this setting firstly expand fully quick panel after that, a 🖊️ ( edit ) option in the right top corner tap it after that u get a option quick pannel access setting u can turn it on and read how it's work 😊
Finally!!! This should be fun. I don't know why, but I feel like the Battle between Samsung and Apple will forever be the unmatchable glamorous Phones Comparison Title that everyone will watch regardless of the smartphone they're rocking or will to get 😂. Btw, I hope your recovery is going well Andres 🙌🏾✨
Another great video Andres! Can't wait for more future videos of the S24U in the upcoming months where you document your usage experience like you did with the S23U
I have the 15 pro max and s24 ultra! My biggest issue for iPhone is the screen scrolling 120hz feels so rubbish, not smooth at all, slightly different than the regular 60hz compared to the s24 ultra which feels like a 120 hz scrolling speed. My positive for the iPhone is it more comfortable to hold. Honestly a lot of the negative comments towards Android compared to IOS is plainly just bias and vice versa with Android users to iOS. They are both great, great photos etc. Neither is better than the other.
Tolle Performance, lange Akkulaufzeit, tolle haptik. I love it❤
Excellent as always, it doesn't matter what phone you are using, after watching the video I want to use the same one as you haha, a hug and hope you get better soon on your feet!! Hay la llevas!!!! Saludos desde México!!!
What amazing about this man Andres, is that he can separate himself from other RU-vidr by dedicating his craft and knowledge to interact with his viewers. There is a ❤ on it, and truly I can feel it even though you are injured, still you never fail to bring us a wonderful content. 😉
I mostly agree with everything except for the point about using a 0.5 animation scale. While older Android phones, particularly those from Samsung, often had sluggish animations that made a 0.5 scale beneficial, I believe applying a 0.5 scale to the S24U in 2024 would likely hinder the user experience. While Samsung's animations may not have been as visually impressive as those of other manufacturers in the past, a 0.5 scale is no longer necessary with the advancements made in recent years.
Great video. A tip for you. You don't have to swipe down twice to see the control center. You can do two finger swipe down or you can configure to show control center every time you swipe from right (single finger).
Here me having Galaxy Note 20 Ultra since release. Now gonna switch to iPhone 17 Pro. Hopefully. Been 7 months having a M2 Macbook Pro and an Applewatch and a M2 iPad Pro coming very soon. 😂. From Android to Apple.
Very well explained, I have seen many videos of this format but yours is by far the best and easiest. Also as a user of both iphone and galaxy, I must say this, notification category is a boon in this digital age and lack of it in iphone really wanna makes me to throw it in garbage.
I'd recommend to enable "Predictive back animations", if available on Samsung, aswell. It's a really nice setting that makes the back gesture so much more pleasant to use.
I come from an S23 Ultra and 2 months ago I switched to the IPhone 15 Pro and to be honest I like both phones and there softwares but iPhone just fits me more.
Andres I really love and Enjoy watching your videos especially when reviewing techs , you're more detailed when talking about tech stuff I respected I wish I could own any of the Samsung ultra series the 23 and 24
After years with iPhone I've been considering the switch. Weirdly enough I think the one that sold me was 17:50 I totally forgot you could search contacts within the dial pad. How tf does Apple not have that yet?
Fun fact: You can emulate the switch on android, and since the s24U is a beast, it does it surprisingly great. I connected an xbox controller through Bluetooth, and the experience in most games is better than the switch itself. That's just one of the million reasons why I'll never pick an iPhone as my main device
This a great video. I think I’m going to wait for WWDC and RCS until I make the switch from Apple to Android. I’ve been wanting a smaller phone (16pro) but if rumors are true about Galaxy fold 6, I will get that one. Just because it’s a phone and an iPad.
Honestly, Samsung really nailed it with the S24, but man, Apple kinda dropped the ball with the iPhone 15 series. There are just too many bugs in the iPhone 15, and now I'm kinda kicking myself for buying it.
I love the s 24 ultra but I think I’ll stay with my iPhone pro max because I have an iMac 27 inch 2019, MacBook Pro 2019 16” intel 32gm of ram and 512 storage, MacBook M1 chip 13 inch and the iPad 10th gen in pink so it makes sense to stay where I’m at lol
I get being curious about the other side, and being there for a bit, but why would you purposely make your life harder if you’re not fully making the switch?
Company makes their smartphone screen super smooth and amazing. But we put a cheap or decent screen guard on that. So what is the point. 2 days Ago I removed my screen guard from my smartphone . Now it feels super smooth, feels good, and pretending like a new smartphone... You should also try this. U hav gond addicted to this Trust me. Love from india. Love your videos.
Didn't you had a video switching from Iphone to 23 , now you're switchingg from Iphone to s24 ? You left the impression 23u stuck on you. Why it didn't ?
I was offered to get a second phone under my contract for extra 20 bucks a month. So I took the deal and got the iPhone 15 pro max as a secondary phone. I tried to use it as a daily..longest id last is about an hour then go back to my S24 Ultra. The amount of 3rd party apps that need to be installed to have the iPhone run decent is not good. I just use the iPhone as a work phone now. So I only basically answer calls and reply to works texts and check my work emails.
Great video, and I appreciate the honest take. I could very likely really love using something like the S24 Ultra, but it would require giving up things from the Apple ecosystem that I legit just prefer over the Google or third-party alternatives (no, not just iMessage lol). So, for me, it would be a bunch of effort to take a step sideways (some things I like more, some things I like less), at best, when I'm honestly happy with what I already have. Anyway, I'm curious: I know people say Android has a "proper file system", but I don't really know what that actually means compared to the Files app on my iPhone. I mean, I'm a pretty technical user (software engineer), but I've never found the Files app has let me down in any particular way. At this point it has read/write access to external storage devices, network locations, multiple cloud storage providers, etc. No, you can't go to c:\iOS or something and dig into plist files or whatever, but... is that a thing on Android?
Hi Andres, question, is it just the filter used for this video or are you not using 'Vivid' as your Screen Mode with your S24 Ultra? Great video btw! 🎉 Thanks for answering!
if you use a Windows computer, then you will have excellent synchronization and ecosystem. With a MacBook there are most likely no alternatives. Microsoft works very closely with Samsung and in general we have almost all the features of the Apple ecosystem.
I currently use a 14 Pro Max but dang, this phone makes me want to switch so bad! And I work for the company that's making the Gorilla Glass and the anti-reflective technology ; who know, maybe I can get a discount? Haha
