I am heading to one of the most beautiful places in Switzerland: The world heritage site of Lavaux. Located next to the city of Lausanne in the french speaking part of Switzerland on the shore of lake Geneva, Lavaux is very famous for its local wine production, mainly Chasselas.
I am going with Flo on the motorbike to explore this stunning region and find some good wine.

Wow, your title is spot on, I had not heard of Lavaux or its wine making. Such a beautiful location, and, I would be happy to have been born there and grow up in the region. Nice to see you and Flo together again. So nice to see more of the delightful Swiss countryside. Am not a big wine drinker, but, I have not tried every wine and such a brilliant opportunity awaits to try them out! Should I get to visit the area, I will certainly go for a swim in Lake Geneva. I love water. Very happy to see you caught some sunny weather whilst on your travels. Thank you again!!

15 years ago there was a discussion in the local newspaper about the payment of the wine harvest workers: They get 100 CHF/day what is near slavery for Switzerland and therefore all involved can get in trouble with the authorities.

Felco make some of the best pruners / secateurs ... Japan and Korea have some unique motorised summer sleds (on a rail, some movable)that make harvesting much easier in these conditions... also used for various hedge fruits and berries and mushroom cultivation etc. at least one native grape species to far east asia and thru Amur region is dioecious. confusing kanji so cannot recall name... there were shrines dedicated to this before meiji period.
