The Christmas market at Münsterhof in 2023 will again be dedicated to “from Züri for Züri”. Here you will find first-class gifts thanks to carefully curated exhibitors who have a special connection to Zurich. e.g. a gift card from the Zurich Specialty Shops Association, beautiful decorative items from Landolt-Arbenz, a wallet from Walkey, or colorful socks from Dillysocks. Many of the products you find on the market come from Zurich and the surrounding area and were designed or manufactured here.
You will also find a wide selection to satisfy your hunger, thirst or just cravings. Exclusively for the Münsterhof Christmas market, local restaurateurs Daniela and Markus Segmüller have developed a recipe for mulled wine “Glüehrot” and “Glühwiss” in collaboration with oenologist Urs Doubt. It is made in Höngg and bottled specifically for the Münsterhof Christmas market. Not only should shopping at the Christmas market be fun, the entertainment program is also fun: the Zurich Conservatory music school impresses with various performances. Other artists such as Tanja Dankner, Larissa Baumann, Seb Lorez and others perform in the culture tent. Come by and enjoy an unforgettable evening in the most beautiful square in Zurich.
A visit to Zurich should include a stroll along the Bahnhofstrasse. Regardless of whether you just go window shopping or purchase something, it's interesting to take a look at this shoppers' paradise.

If you don't enter any of the stores and keep walking, it would take just 20 minutes to get from one end of the street to the other. But if you like shopping, you will enjoy yourself in the Bahnhofstrasse much longer than that.
There are restaurants, lots of fashion stores and souvenir shops. Of course you can also find the best Swiss delicacies here, such as chocolate (from Läderach for example).
Also, there are several department stores such as the well known Swiss store COOP, and the luxury department store Globus.
The list goes on with design shops, perfumeries and lots of jewelers and watch shops: Bucherer, Gübelin, Cartier, Omega, Swarovski and IWC Schaffhausen, just to name a few.
Be sure not the focus on the Bahnhofstrasse only! Some of the side streets are worth it as well. An example is the pretty Augustinergasse, about half way of the Bahnhofstrasse. The street dates back to medieval times, and the houses have beautiful facades.
