Linda, Thanks for the tip. Liver supplies so many nutrients. I also feed my dogs canned sardines or herring once weekly and now add eggs(6 eggs) to the mix along with hearts(2-4 oz per batch). I'll try the treats!

Dr Greg what are your views on earthborn meadows feast for dogs? Just put my four on it and they seem to be doing well , but one of my wieners has exzema like rash inher armpit area with a little fatty pouch there and the same rash on a tiny area on her chest. She used to be overweight but now trying to find a food to maintain weight. If it is not food maybe it is the grass?

Hello Dr. My dog olive has a swollen leg. Her pads are also very swollen. We noticed she was limping two days ago so we waited and no she cant even walk of the stairs. She is two years old and a doberman. We cant afford to take her in but we will if we have to. She does not seem to have any pain upon us touching it. Should we wait or take her in?

The dog is on the rooftop (azotea in Spanish), My friend removed a tick that the dog had. What kind of diseases can cause limb edema? Is the only information that I have it. Hi, I love watching these you tube videos and reading comments I contacted you several months back about "itching" on one of my 3 shih tzu's I changed all their diet u suggested. they showed instant results. we r infested with "sand flies" thousand fly out of the grass just from them walking on it.again they are scratching themselves bald. what can I do? they r biting themselves raw.This vet told me to buy Hartz/flea&tick killer & spray them & then brush. I would NEVER let me dogs lick that.
My pitbull is about 12 years old we assume that she got into something that she not to be eating.. with her nosey self.. she started vomiting later on that day.. we left her and our other pet outside in the back porch for a while so I can clean up all the vomit in the house... the next day I noticed that she was walking funny and avoiding using her right leg... so I was trying to take a look at it and she ran for me I told my husband to grab her and pin her down to see what is wrong with her leg and he said their whole leg was swollen.. that either she got stung by a bee or wasp or she has a spider bite.... I know for a fact a spider bite when not create this much of an impact on an animal.. so we went up taking her in to the emergency room that's when they kept her for 2 and 1/2 days .. Of a mass,.. regurgitation and aspiration pneumonia 😳😟 They've been giving her amoxicillin antibiotics and they're giving her also potassium.. They treated her leg but yet they did not get the resultsback yet because it's nerve-wracking for a 3 to 5 days till possible 7 depending how backed up they are.. Now that we got her home she is slowly getting her appetite back but the leg is still swollen any advice on how to deal with this I've been putting cold compresses on her leg
after original post i had to take him to the vet/by morning he bite himself raw/the vet prescribed Vanectyl-P/2xdaily 4 four days/ then once til finished. Then handed me a bill for $175.00. said they were allergies by didnt know from what.i tried tree oil mixed with olive oil/ lavender oil as well. it only made him greasy.i used vinegar /water-but had to be careful with all of this he already had a open cut from biting and scratching.he again disagreed with the food said that was probably it.

What if your dog drags his back feet but he can put weight on them but one of his back paws is like drunk because when he walks the other leg falls and it's cold here we been keeping him inside Since we saw him do that..
