It’s interesting, because this theme basically resembles Alice’s entire life. 00:00 - It starts off quite calm and idyllic, peaceful even - which is exactly what her life has been before she crossed into the dark territory and therefore violated the Taboo Index. 00:29 - The second part is equally calm, however, emotionally different. While the first part was supposed to be peaceful, the second part mirrors her time in the central cathedral as well as her synthesize ceremony. Notice how mysterious and even threatening the music is? 01:06 - This part stands for Alice Synthesis Thirty, the integrity knight we all know and love. The music itself speaks for her strength and her grace. It shows how much of a competent warrior she has become. 01:27 - Her usual flute theme starts to kick in, reminding the listener that deep inside she is still the Alice she used to be before her whole life turned upside down. Even though Quinella may have robbed her off er memory, she’ll always be Alice Zuberg in a way while the wild undertone of the part makes it very clear that she has still changed into a warrior. 02:32 - The last and, from my point of view, the most epic part - pictures the moment she wipes out the armies of the dark territory during the war of the underworld. The moment combined with what we saw in the anime just shows us again how incredibly mighty she is and that she is capable of so much, even mastering the sacred arts to a certain level of perfection. And yes.. I’m high r/n. Otherwise I wouldn’t have figured that out, I hope it sounds somewhat plausible, hehe.
This season not only brought us one of the best character bonds, but also 2 of the best character themes, god Alice and Eugeo's themes are great and the bond between Eugeo and Kirito makes me cry every time it peaks.
This is pretty much gonna be Selka's theme when Alice comes to floor 80th of the cathedral, at least the starting tune. Because she's literally sitting under the Osmanthus tree.
@@eri9986 you dumb ... luminous sword isn't originally sao series ost, it was an game online ost before named Luna Online ! Sao just copy paste it to be their ost ...

@@WorldWalker128 actually, breaking up songs into portions and using differeng portions at different times in pretty smart. It means you can save moeny by making less music and if you need a new track then you can combine existing segments and do some mild remixing
@@Waterbottle_s I (my team really) am having some more obscure musicians make music in that way for an audiobook production. I'm just the director figure, I greenlight everything but I don't really do much paperwork or anything of that sort
@@ioriashikaga9721 it's wrote in a phrygian mode on c with a major third. It's called the phrygian dominant scale. By searching I found that this mode is in flamenco, Egyptian music but in India and central Asia music too.
This track singlehandedly solidified not only SAO's status as a lgendary anime & game, but also solidified Alice's appeal to pop culture (feel free to argue, the numbers speak for themselves) I bet a slice of life following Alice's stay in the real world would kill

Nonamemon When you see all the flower-like projectiles stabbed into the pig-guy and goblin leader before he gushes blood, they sort of look like a ninja star.
@@noobdude5933 because in the anime when kirito and eugeo are fighting against alice the correct moment of the ost is 2:32 we have this little guitar sound that isn't here at 1:06
