@@markleonardo8222 the luckiest I’ve been was 3 featured units in a single multi (that only ever happened once and it wasn’t even in my main account…) In my main account, I got super lucky with saff and got 4 copies (inc. The first copy) in 60 pulls
I love the tierlist, but as a bit of constructive feedback it's borderline useless to most players to hear your plans if your plan in almost every regard is "pull to 3 stars and eventually build to 5". I'm happy for you, but that's not remotely realistic for most people and doesn't help us determine what units make sense to pull, or skip.
@@porororo2023 I stated I liked the list, and provided a bit of constructive feedback on something I didn’t find useful. To turn your question back around, did you find hearing/seeing that he was going to pull almost every character to about 3 stars and then build them to 5 useful in some way?
me : "okay i lack good physical damage units, should focusing my pulls for those" Me when a support unit have 1 good utility skill : "maybe we can survive with the power of flowers and friendship" (we dont)
Thank you. I really love your content. Unlike other cc, who just red character skill and gave opinion, you showcase how the charachter work with chara kit and equipment and showed them in some map. You are really gold cc. I am waiting for your Auguste guide.
@@SulpherPlease It depends on different players’ budget really but imo you will need multiple dpses to do well in Tower of adversity anyway since you won’t be able to use the same units on different floors in that mode. Because of that, I don’t think Auguste would make a bad investment even if you plan on getting Tristan (or vice versa)
Good vid on units but I don't think the math is mathing when it comes to you farming shards to 5 stars because of the limited slots and you practically plan to pull almost every unit.
Great list similar to the last. Just don't follow the "I plan to pull this number of stars for this character" especially if you're f2p. It's just not feasible to throw away pulls after you get the first copy just to speed up the process of getting a unit online. This game is not competitive enough to warrant these kind of actions unless of course you can afford it money wise, then by all means do what you want.
In many PvP CN videos, Maitha is always one of the 15 chosen characters. But in your Tier List she is ranked with a score of 1.5, just as I have never seen anyone using Leonide or Teadon, but again for you, they are ranked very well, ahead of characters like Gloria, NonoWill, Liliwill, Dantalion and even Beryl. Could you explain your version of ranking such good characters with lower ranks, as well as why characters like Leonide and Teadon are so well ranked for PvP? And if you can, could you show us good builds for these characters? Btw, thanks
@@linleesin So I haven’t used much of Teadon in pvp yet (cause I don’t have him in my main account) but for leonide, I’ve been slaughtered a few times by my guild mates because of his passive that knocks back unit when he’s healthy (can’t remember if it’s healthy or unharmed) this passive when paired with roaring flint and wheel of fortune tarot gives him the access to an AoE knockback. This combo when paired with efficient positioning and baiting have been proven deadly in Hollow Mines pvp map. From what I’ve experienced so far fighting leonide in pvp is that you won’t necessarily use him as a burst dps like you would with the likes of beryl, dantalion etc. rather you’d want to build him as a terrain kill enabler. As for Teadon, I can only theorise that he might be good in a map where there’s narrow areas you can exploit (Hollowed Mine for example) due to some of the skills he’s got access to. As for Maitha, I’ve really only have used her as a last resort if the remaining units I wanted to use end up getting banned in pick and ban mode. Hope that helps :)
This is the first time I’ve heard that bit about Maitha, but it’s not surprising, in my opinion. Maitha is a knockback expert. Knockback is a big deal in PvP, since one good knockback can KO any character. Maitha has three knockback skills, two of which are legendary: one is the 'standard' knockback, one is a charge-type that can circumvent reactions with a distance of 1 as the prerequisite, and the other is a limited anti-dodge type. Theoretically, she can perform knockback every turn. Not to mention, she can also provide assist cover that can be toggled on and off. Her heals are also not stat-dependent. She is definitely a solid all-around reserve to have in a PvP lineup. As for the tier list, I believe the main reason why Maitha is ranked so low is that she is not as strong as other legendary units at this point in time, which is true. Her damage is not as good as that of more specialized bruiser types like Alexei or Magnus (she can deal damage but needs heavy investment). Her healing is not as effective as that of more specialized healers (which is the trade-off for not being stat-dependent), and her unique knockback skills have the disadvantage of long cooldowns (4 and 5 turns). This makes me wonder why she wasn’t assigned to the discipline group. One more thing regarding her knockback: in PvP, your enemies will definitely take note of Maitha and be more careful with their unit placement, so that’s another minus. Now, regarding Gloria, Nonowill, Liliwill, Dantalion, and Beryl being ranked lower compared to Leonide and Teadon in the PvP tier list: the tier list was not created by Doughtato, and he mentioned that he doesn’t know the scoring criteria. My own guess for the scores is that the creator regards direct control skills higher than pure damage, buffs, and soft/conditional control skills. Let’s take a look at each character one by one: Gloria: She is an all-rounder, which is both an advantage and a disadvantage. She has many damage skills and many buff skills as well, but only one control skill, which is momentarily lost when she enters sword mode. Nonowill: A very tactical unit. She is a favorite of mine, but honestly, her value in PvP is fluctuative. Her control skills, while powerful, can either be negated through items or require certain conditions to be met first. Her buff skills are mainly self-only, while her damage output is subpar. Liliwill: She is a pure dealer and a very strong sniper, but she also requires the right conditions to be overpowered. She has many damage skills and buffs (most are self-buffs), but only one control skill, which is a reaction skill. Dantalion: He is a half-dealer, half-tank unit, leaning more towards dealer. He has many damage skills, some with extra effects such as debuffs or dispels, a few buff skills, and one control AoE skill. His greatest downside is that he is very energy-intensive, which can only be mitigated by using an energy battery or having other units killed-something hard to achieve in PvP conditions. Beryl: She is also somewhat of an all-rounder but is more heavily specialized in damage. More than half of her kit consists of damage skills, with a few buff skills, and only one inconsistent control skill, if I recall correctly. (If you consider setting fire as a type of control skill, then she has three more control skills.) Now, that’s a very rough explanation of those five characters (of which I only have Gloria and Nonowill, so please correct me if there are any errors). As for the last two characters: Leonide: I do have him, so I can vouch for him. He is scary if you use him right. First of all, he is an ST-dealer/tank hybrid, specializing in charge attacks. He is also extremely mobile. His stance skill allows him to move five tiles per turn, both before and after attacking (as long as he still has movement points). Although the downside of only moving in a straight line may seem like a significant demerit, it can be mitigated. He also has a passive skill that allows him to deal a 1-tile knockback to any target whose current HP is lower than his max HP. If that wasn't enough, his starting skills allow him to knock back targets by two tiles and stun them if they collide with something. Stun is the best CC state you want your opponent in. He might not have the highest damage, but his mobility and CC potential are definitely something to watch out for. For his build: Weapon: either the staff that adds movement, the halberd that adds HP, or the lance (assuming you also use him as a tank). Trinket: Fancy Hat (this is a must). Tarot: either Chariot or World. Lastly, we have the good old Teadon, our meme knight. Unfortunately, I don’t have him at the moment, but I know how annoying he can be in PvP. He specializes in using two mechanics: alert and shield. In PvP, his greatest assets lie in two skills: Shield of Sanction and Knock-Out Blow. What they have in common is stun. In particular, Shield of Sanction only requires 3 energy, so it can be used every turn as long as he has enough energy. What’s scary about this skill is its radius-a 3x3 diamond shape centered on him. If you equip him with Hunter Alert, you can effectively control one of your opponent’s units for one turn uncontested. That’s the theory, at least. Hope you survive reading this long narration!
@@Houkashorai and @Doughtato I would like to thank you both for the explanation. You said "Hunter Alert", but would it be "Hunter's Intuition" for Teadon? I only have one for Momo at the moment. I need to get another one. Can I try Luxite Greatshield? I've already spent the completely wrong skills for Leonide and Teadon. Now I'm working up the courage to spend Castalia on both of them, that will be at least 4-5 Castalia. Now I'm sad about that. But now I get your point, Stun is really good. My suggestion is, for both of them, to create some tutorial for Leonide and Teadon on RU-vid or Reddit. I bet many will be surprised, because from what I understand, everyone thinks these characters are extremely useless, but from these guides, at least they seem to have good value.
@@linleesin Ah, right. it's Hunter's Intuition. my bad. Sure, you can use luxite greatshield for Teadon. I don't recall any other trinket that's good for him. I remember that there's a video about Leonide, but not on Teadon. It's my first time hearing about the Fortune Tarot trick for Leonide, definitely want to try it
@@Ivan-xg1hx I’ll be covering team synergies for most of the meta units. In terms of Tower of Adversity, I don’t have a complete list of every season (and there’s no guarantee that global would follow cn ToA seasons in the exact order) so it’s kinda hard to do a guide on those as they are generally designed with specific units in mind. (There’s a few stages where Caris is the most obvious choice for example) I’ll definitely cover more ToA content when I get access to it though :)
@@flareri8665 So far there’s only been 7 astral equipments and they were all released in Crimson Night patch (3.0) The Witches patch have yet introduced them but it’s yet to conclude so … maybe??
Thanks for more videos like this! Is very important for F2P players like me to understand how these characters ate performing especially in PVP. I would like to know why Homa has been increased so fast in PVP compared to the last video, and why she's above Taair in this case? I was going to only pull for Taair, but it seems she can make a big difference in PvP too!! Thanks man! ❤
Oh for .1 difference, I think Taair is still better than Homa. Unfortunately I didn’t get og author’s thought process in the pvp tier list so I can only speculate that in pick and ban mode, since people know taair is broken support through his aoe speed buff he’d most likely be in people’s first ban list. Which made me think of Tristan but at the same time, there are more DPSes than support unit .. I can definitely see how homa being good in pvp when paired with physical dpses for her buffs and debuts
Ugh. I really want Auguste but too many T0 characters to pull for that I may skip him and opt for Tristan who, in all things considered, a better Auguste with better mobility. Lol.
Imo get 1 star Auguste now and just farm. If you’re concerned about pitying him, set a limit you’re comfortable with. That way it’ll at least count towards the pity for whichever next debut character you’re planning to get
I think there’ll be enough distance between Auguste and Tristan for you to secure both. Imo, having both Auguste and Tristan will help you in ToA where you can’t use the same units between the upper and lower levels. Not having Homa would most likely reduce your damage output but having both Auguste and Tristan will help you in the long run over having only Tristan imo
How does one pick up pace to get more level up this late in the game as I heard that the top out level is 60 is that it? Also how do you reset the game that has the dice you roll and get mushrooms i used all already and want it to reset.
Yeah max level is 60. I tend to only max out units I use in 90% of the content so that way I don’t have to worry as much about not having exp to max level a newly pulled unit I wanna use. In my main account, I have a lot of lvl 1 units for example
I think Auguste would help you a lot. He’s good in both PvP and PvE scene. What I will say though, for f2p and low spenders, I wouldn’t actively chase any dupes. And also I think you’ll be able to enjoy the game better if you set your expectations accordingly, just cause it’ll be hard, if not impossible to compete with whales on ranked events or modes (and also PvP) The same thing kinda applies to me, I won’t really ever try to compete with gigawhales just cause I don’t have the gigawhale budget haha. I hope I didn’t go too far off the tangent with your question, but, yeah I believe Auguste can be great value to you :)
@@8Robba oh no. Apologies. I recorded the voice lines as separate files, I might’ve accidentally pasted the same file twice. Thank you for pointing it out :)
Maybe when she gets a rerun haha. In the meantime, a good friend of mine is a Samantha lover and she’s great at breaking down off meta units, check out aMagicJo’s channel when you can. I’ve found her breakdowns very very helpful :)
Yeah. I personally like Layla but kinda limited myself to just two personal favorites (Luvita and Pamina for me) To get all 15 units to their max potential would require a lot of luck, whaling and time so as much as I would love her for PvP, I can still play around with a lot of strats with the 15 I’ve chosen for myself. I will cover her when he does come to global so stay tuned for that :)
@@Houkashorai it’s more commonly known as signature weapon. I just call it astral equipment because it describes the equipment series more accurately as per translation :)
@@Houkashorai I’ll be covering those when I do the trinket video. Probably early or middle of next month since I need to work on August this week and possibly 2 other units the week after :)
Labeling everything you don’t like AI does nothing but desensitize people to genuine criticisms of AI. Assuming that’s not exactly what you’re trying to do, maybe reconsider your course of action.
