This week Pastor Josh continued his series on the Armor of God with, Sword of the Spirit part two. He starts by telling us that the Word of the Lord provides us with the very foundation by which we build our lives, emphasizing that if we build an identity not on God's word - we will crash.
Pastor Josh goes over the three temptations of Jesus found in Matthew 4:1-11. He shows how the temptations we face today are similar to the temptations Jesus faced. When we enter testing, Satan can come in with temptations. God is not the one who tempts us, Satan is, and the Sword of the Spirit is our weapon to counter-attack the attacks of Satan.
