Ah yes, when outlaw had area damage, when 9 towers existed, and when the freezer was one the best towers, and when the minigunner had a jetpack. Also when a boss with 75k is considered a lot of health.
I did the event and finished it when it was active. And man it was the most difficult thing I’ve ever done in this game. To put into perspective how difficult it was, I had a organized team of 4 people in total with freezers and minis, and yet even when we played 4 hours everyday it took us a week to complete it.

@Lexo yes but the game lacked graphics then, many great maps didnt exist, and there only being 9 towers makes that game lack variety. Some nerfs were justified because of what you’re getting for the price being too op. mega servers didnt exist, lots of towers didnt exist. outlaws nerf wasnt even that large and matchmaking/parties are here for the event right now. Just use sledger for freeze or electroshocker for stunning. No hardcore back then either + the modes were scuffed af. I played back then and i can safely say that new tds is more fun than old tds. @@julianolivaresolivaresbarr8688 the most reason of the removal of the HW bc the wave wasn't fully fixed yet, as you can see many things are bugged, like the fallen scout that shoots tower but not stun properly same case as mechanical rot and many more
The swordmaster was so hard to beat, there were no-op towers at that time like Accel, and the only thing you could do was spam towers and move them around and hope for the best.

Old towers: Commander could Chain his Ability Mortar Actually Used Missiles Rocketeer Was More Cracked Outlaw had Area Damage Minigunner had a Jetpack Enforcer had a SWAT Van Ability Freezer could freeze any enemy including major bosses in the game, Ability DJ Buffs Were Even Better Cowboy Ability was better than literally every other support tower combined John Had a Damage Buff
Umbra would be very easy if you knew what you were doing but sfoth event required tons of micro, the only highest damage being minigunner, and that few people were good at the game because of how early sfoth event released
Micro yes but you can beat the event with random people also ranger or outlaw I don’t know anymore was somewhat ok in the event but yes minigunner is the best tower to beat the event as outlaw is simple too expensive and the number of waves being short before the boss came gave less time for the players to prepare and well yeah the player count also helped to increased the difficulty.

@@youber3200 outlaw was pretty damn good back than since it had no placement limit and well the commander stacking glitch existed back than making the outlaw to basically a rapid fire tower while also making the purple sun
Tbh swordmaster event was technically more difficult especially that there wasn't that much tower at that time compare to now and strategies weren't that much used since most of the players in the game are new
@@halo_moment5228 No cuz Raider Boss and Swordmaster are the only bosses to get 100% removed from the game code (like tank 2, witch doctor, impostor (SUS), tombstone, controlled, shrike crystal, boomer 2 and necromancer 2) since you cannot spawn them anymore (if you're admin ofc). Others like Jack o' Bot, Gold Titan, Nuclear Fallen King, Krampus, Lord Sinister and Frost Spirit are removed, but they're still in the game code cuz they can still be spawned (by admins ofc).
bruh, people in tds knew less about the game. And there was no accelerator or toxic gunner back then. Also not medic so the towers stunned would stay stunned. I don't think you understand the pain i went through trying to beat sfoth for it to ultimately fail. If i could do anything i would go back to 2019 so i could retry sfoth one more time to get another chance at beating it.
Swordmaster still counts as the hardest boss becuase if were talking in the old days swordmaster takes the place since umbra wasnt in that time so most likely if she were to hack to in the old days she would likely get cut out of the system
raider boss was the strongest boss ever actually considering he could even kill outlaws and towers used to be so crappy. I have commando but he was so hard to beat Umbra in my opinion was weak compared to old event bosses is what i am saying because the towers were so weak.Making Raider boss the hardest boss to beat due to it’s killing ability. Also Jackobot was like a god also
Raider boss was actually pretty weak, Number 1 as it’s mentioned, he has 35K HP, Lol. Second, his killing ability isn’t used as much as his stun abilities, and can just kill bad towers, 3, they had John which gave a damage boost, they also had the commander stack boost to kill it even faster. The Umbra I would say is also weak, similar to the frost spirit, there’s just a few things. 1 is the most obvious, she has almost 30x the HP of raider boss. 2: Her stun covers like half the map and can hit cliff towers. And 3: She can of course attack the base. But, the star cannon makes it much easier, try doing it without it :/. Also I forgot to mention: The Umbra gets a speed buff half way through her health.
I am going to be objective, I am an og, I can prove it, I really think that sword master wasn’t THAT hard as many people said, before minigunner’s jetpack upgrade removal it wasn’t easy to beat the sword master but it wasn’t too hard, it took me like 8 attempts to beat it, also because freezer was súper op so sword master wasn’t the hardest atleast for me, Area 51 event was by far the easiest event, I beat it 2nd try, the boss had 35k health what is ridiculously low, and even the ability to kill towers wasn’t really useful for him, I beat that event in my 2nd try and ironically commando (the event tower of that event) was extremely op at that time with 130 dps and splash damage what is even more than turret, solar eclipse event objectively is the hardest event from all time, the strats used for night 4 need the best towers in the game because atleast 3 people need accelerator and if you aren’t a social person it will be extremely hard to find pro people and even harder to teach them the strat, It took me more than 20 attempts to beat night 4, so yeah, that’s my opinion on all this events.
Ehhhh managed to beat it with turrets and golden minigunner so I don’t know what you’re talking about needing at least 3 accelerators and yeah sword master wasn’t too hard but this was back in the old days of TDS where the player count was still relatively low and not many people were good at it and strategies weren’t really used or even made back than took me 5 tries with random people even noobs well as long as long as they weren’t a knucklehead and listen. For the Area 51 event aka raider boss I will agree it was rather easy though it did take me 3 tries with random people this is when TDS started to pick up on players though strategies weren’t really used as well. As for the solar eclipse event which was hard I will give you that since you have to take the challenges of cannon management, COA spam, and micro (even though micro was still needed in the sfoth mainly freezer) though hardcore and hidden wave are pretty difficulty as well since void reavers makes your base health to 1 and their is 2 of them adding to 1.4m health (700k each) plus the 4 bosses before they spawn don’t forget about the spam of both circuits and souls as for the hidden wave creator wasn’t too difficult mainly the minions that spawn before the creator and the spam from creator of developers. Ah yes I forget about the different bosses that appear before creator as well soooo yeah umbra wasn’t too difficult even with random people you don’t really need a strategy as well.
@@goldenskytimekeeper7281 if you say that you were able to beat night 4 without accelerator you are lying, boss have 1 million health, frost invasion was able to beat without accel because there were 6 people and the frost spirit was ridiculously slow, umbra is really fast and only 4 people can enter so unless you had extremely good rng with charge spawning I don’t think night 4 is able to beat without accelerator
Umbria isn't that fast but yes frost spirit was slower than umbra and you can beat the event without accelerator if you keep most of your health and actual know to time your shots to stop umbra from shooting your base. tower placement crucial for my success on that plus I needed to form a team (friends) make a stragety for said occasion had to at the very least retry about 20+ times due to the cursed horses killing us having to time COA spam and tried to maximize the range of the 2 DJ's to support are golden minigunners and turrets don't even mention the micro we had to do to even get pass the cursed horses abusing both sledger and toxic gunner to slow and temporarily freeze the horses oh I did almost forgot to mention ranger my bad my team had to use golden minigunners, turrets, and ranger spam plus the lunar and solar guards had to do 10 tries to get pass them barely as in down to the wire eng had are back on that run now to face the umbra I've played night 4 long enough to get a rough estimate on where (on the track) umbra would shoot her damage base arrow you will need rng for her arrow shots yes but once she goes into her rage mode you will need to tank at least 40 damage as her 3 shot would have fired before her rage mode and she will shoot her 4th arrow that you will need to tank or your rng is just amazing and umbra just doesn't shoot at all and you stun her were every single tower is attacking her maxing the dps now for the placement had to cover the map with golden minigunners and turrets all 4 of us had to bring turrets golden and 1 people bring toxic and sleger while the other 2 bring DJ commander as they will be focusing on COA spam as for the last person have 1 or 2 towers that are cheap and good for early defence in total me and my friends had to retry night 4 about 50-60+ tries to even beat it once.
Oh I forgot about the charges if you just get the charges to fill your cannon and not pick up any other batteries once the cannon is fired you and your team can just pick up 4 more charges and leave the rest of them for later.
Raider boss is hardest event in tds because he can kill towers, a quad barrel rockets, a freeze and a fire guardian. And thats why he is hardest event in tds.
Frost spirit gets bullied by umbra but raidet boss and swordmaster together is syronger since they both come on very early waves (12-20) and health scalling was massive , at the time , loer chance to have high level tiwers and not many great dps towers at the time
Actually i think void reaver is hardest. He has 700K hp but there are 2 void reavers which makes it 1.4M and he spams circuit to make him faster and spam soul to get past units. And they need to beat 4 bosses that have more hp then night bosses and he can deal 80 base hp and finally there are alot of enimies and 50 waves. So void reaver hardest.
Clearly the gold titan is the strongest boss… its so good that it had to be removed and it wasn’t even an event boss… *totally not because it was broken*

tbh i think the swordmaster and raider boss are harder events than the umbra, solely because the powerlevel of the towers back in the old days were so much lower, making those two bosses ferociously powerful for their era, not to mention most of the playerbase back then were new/inexperienced so information and strategies on defeating those the swordmaster and raider boss were scarce. of course now those two would be shredded easily but id still consider them two harder events in tds history (i was around back then so i can vouch since im an OG)
Tbh the hardest boss is nuclear fallen king because OF THE FREAKING STUN ABUSE AND CIRCUIT SPAM THAT LITERALLY SPEEDS UP THE BOSS AND STUNS ALL THE TOWERS AND THE MINIONS ARE SO FREAKING OP WITH 20K TO 120K WHILE GETTING STUN ABUSED, if the mili base bug was patched on that very moment IT WOULD BE IMPOSSIBLE, good thing I got it before.
tbh i think the void reaver is the hardest enemy in the game because to defeat it u must defeat 50 waves from the hardest mode in tds hardcore and theres 2 of him when he spawns which has 1.4 million hp and tower costs more so thats way harder
just because a boss has more hp doesn't mean they are harder, yes. But the Umbra is still way harder, honestly night 3 is harder than all other nights combined
@@OfficialAndroid-16 umbra needs at least 3 shots if your health is above 80 2 shots if your health is above 40 but the void reaver only makes it go down to 1 even with circuits isn’t a guaranteed win since well don’t forget about the defences as well so yeah while umbra you need rng and cannon management to even postpone your bases health to be damaged.

Fun fact why sfoth way harder than solar eclipse (i'm not og so cmiiw :3) : 1. Map : Sfoth map (the heights) really short so enemy enter the base faster. Meanwhile solar eclipse n4 has 2 loops and long-ass map which make enemy easily yeeted twice (cuz the loop) 2. Boss hp : Swordmaster has 45k health and umbra has 1m health. Remember, *u got cash by damaging enemies.* So, you have a lot of cash by damaging umbra meanwhile you get less cash on swordmaster 3. Wave : SFOTH has 8 wave which make player has less preparation. Meanwhile solar eclipse n4 has 16 waves and a lot of enemies and FREAKIN 6 BOSSES WITH HIGH HEALTH which make you get a lot of money (same as what i said on no 2) In case you don't know the 6 bosses : 1.) i played the events and the area 51 and the swordman is more hard the acelerator and others towers (I don't know anymore because I don't remember xd) dont exist so is really hard the tower really op for that is the minigunner
Sword master was way harder in my opinion, because the map was short and having 6 people meant more noobs and trolls that can destroy your run. Night 4 was filtered mostly because noobs cannot get past night 3
Also to everyone reading this:You can choose wheather the solar eclipse is the hardest or any other is the hardest just do not go forcing others to choose your opinion
