regarding the F/V Big Eye.. after reading a few of the comments I just wanted to mention that Chris Hansen doesn't have the luxury I was trying to be Mr. nice guy all the time. He has a boat he's trying to keep from losing any business to run and he's up against a rock and a hard place. The captain of a fishing boat has a big responsibility and their word is final. there is no negotiation and it is not a dialogue with the crew. It is a monologue. Call emotion aside. FV MR BIG EYE, can go it alone so he says, but don't make your long friend feel like a dink for walking off to his family. Never get a solid crew with that atmosphere 💯

CHOMPS Talking about he worries about how the crew does their jobs,,,He should think about how he talks to his crew,,l have a home repair business and l have 5 men who work for me and I can tell you that each one of them will come to work even if for some odd reason l can't pay them,,they will still come to work and we all will put our heads together and come up with a plan to get the business running in the right direction to make money and get everyone a paycheck and a good one at that..

Sailing on the Big Eye, you know you’re not getting a dime for sailing on a boat which should not be out the harbour and the big mouth skipping Who shows no respect to any of his crew the only one who comes back season after season is his brother I should correct that and say his half brother. Strangely enough they are the only ones who earn any money.

F/V eagle eye 2 obviously has an excellent captain and a well seasoned crew that knows what they're doing. The captain demonstrates on every episode that your men will respect you and will respond to your needs if you treat them with respect. Just the opposite of cptn slick .. He is a screamer and likes to try to bully his crew. I enjoy fishing but I wouldn't work for that man for any price

And that little bastard on the big eye just needs someone on his boat that will not be talked to like he talks to his people,,and I just found out that I don't live to far away from him,,,maybe I might just go over and try to get a job on the big eye,,when we come back in l think ol chomp will have a different attitude and he and his little girl friend won't cheat anyone on that trip out,,they will get paid like the other crews on the other boat's unless we just don't catch anything 😉,,YEAH,,l live about 871 miles from big eyes dock..
