I like the updates. The only difference I'd make is having Gymir Aegirine for Chaos Angel. While Chaos Angel is probably stronger, it's just easier to summon Gymir with this deck given that the tuners the Swordsouls produce are all water. But just my humble opinion.

This is a good deck list, though the duality was used a few months ago and I liked it. Rather than the apple dragon, I use Assault Synchron. I never considered Mirrorjade and Albion but I may try it. I will say Duality brings the sizzle to the deck. In my ED, I use Accel Synchro Stardust Dragon and Dragite. Have you considered Synchro Zone? Maybe not in the main deck but I use it for the side deck.

Really really love the list! Really wanna make a Swordsoul deck and this is an amazing place to start from Only thing I'll probably change is Dragoon since I hate how OP it is and how unfun it can be to play against, and Gymir instead of Chaos Angel since I like her effect much much more; the rest of the deck seems very solid though!

When I first heard of Swordsoul, it was already Tier 1 and I kinda just ignored it. Then once all the cards got reprinted in MAMA, I decided to test them out finally. I never thought it would become one of my favorite decks lol. Nice profile

Amazing deck profile, keen to try something similar, keep up the great content. Also a question about a interaction with the duality’s? Can u resummon a monster (say with sacred summit) that was originally summoned from the extra deck with duality???

Thanks for the comment! I wish you could Summon back, but unless the card was properly Summoned, it can't be summoned back with a reborn effect.

I'm surprised that you did not include Barrone de Fleur and Deng Long in the extra deck. That's okay. I'm glad that Swordsoul Tenyi deck is relevant today. Thank you.

Its rare to setup Deng Long considering you are mainly using 4s and 2s to Synchro (not saying you cant but it would be a 1 of at most). You are also barely using its effects at all since you arent running Yang Zing monsters in your main deck. If anything you would use the "send wyrm to GY" effect and even then its a situational card - so I guess you could technically run a 1 of instead of maybe shaman or a monk but imo, I wouldnt. It kinda works in other Swordsoul decks that isnt running Jade/Dragoon/Albion setups - along with Chaofeng but if you arent running other Yang Zing stuff in your main deck its basically an Extra Deck brick imo unless its another brick cover like you get ash'd mid combo and you need to use a token and a monk for example.

I had a quick question about chaining duality to blackout. I thought if you lose your targets it won’t activate? Can someone please explain that combo

Its because the cost of blackout is to target, not to destroy, so once you targeted you already paid the cost so you can activate and resolve the effect

I went with Red-Eyes Flare Metal Dragon. Can't be destroyed by card effects and has excellent burn damage.

If it's a powerful beatstick you want, add some Mannadium cards to your Kashtira deck. Your objective is to have plenty of cards that will help you summon the Fusion monster VICIOUS ASTRALOUD. He's really good. Hope that helps! 🙂 P.S. The most common combination I use for Astraloud is Visas Starfrost + Riseheart

@@doubleduece2012I played Shaddoll for 3 years and have tried 8 variants over that time. And I still love it to this day. It is my favourite deck ever. I can't think of any way the two decks would work together. Like, not impossible but I just don't see it very likely, maybe it could be a fun experiment to do but from my experience the best mix for Shaddolls are Dogmatika and/or Branded, also Invoked but it's a bit slower than the other two variants (Shaddoll Dogmatika/Shaddoll Branded/Shaddoll Branded Dogmatika)

@@doubleduece2012 that's for sure, some archetypes work wonders together even if they're not very "similar" And of course I could be wrong, I'm not some sort of oracle X3 I can't really think of a variant within which Swordsoul and Shaddolls would work too well together though. Maybe if you splashed in Dogmatika you could use a Nadir servant to set up a Schism in the opponent's turn and summon stuff, but like Shaddolls alone I'm not sure. But it is an idea crazy enough to be tested🤣
