We've all been born to play our part When even love and hate are blind The truth is etched On every heart And only fate can change your mind The feeble shift along the stars It isn't nearly any fun To know the world Beneath the moon Yet nothing underneath the sun For one like you, who bears the chain Who lives in fear of "Destiny" This changing world Is to remain Enveloped in a mystery And no matter who decides it The string has to be tied It's a perfectly victimless crime And no matter how it plays out You're bound to leave these days out Arrested by those threads of time... From the day that you were born You're beholden to my pull There is never need to mourn The inevitable For this endless scarlet flow Fueling life that feeds on death You've put on a splendid show Since your very first breath When a single string is cut Yet another one is tied This is "Fate", no matter what There's no way you can hide In the dark, you clearly see There's no sense in breaking free This is how it's meant to be *For the whole world but me!*
No it's a game series heavily inspired by castlevania, it uses Touhou characters instead, Reimu is supposed to be the "Richter" of the series and Remilia plays the part of Dracula. Sakuya is sort of like the "Alucard" of the series. But it's not exactly the same as Castlevania, but you can see how heavily inspired it was by Castlevania.
Touhouvania 1, you play as Reimu in that game (might be a parody of Rondo of Blood). Touhouvania 2 is basicly a parody game of Symphony of the Night with Sakuya as the main character. Warning these games are hard just like Castlevania.
Man this theme would go along greatly with the final battle with Dracula in the castlevania series hopefully they'll include Soma Cruz, if not then at least use Julius Belmont, but I then there's another theme that is amazing as well Yu-Gi-Oh GX ost Camula's theme it is epic.
She's pretty harmless unless you offend her, or unless she's starving (something I make sure never happens). The only one in our household that you should have a healthy fear of is Flandre. And maybe Patchouli, too.
I love how this theme has a bit of Castlevania feeling in the composition and Skies Beyound The Clouds ( Iku pre-battle theme ) has a Final Fantasy vibe, both are extraordinarily beautiful
there is a touhou castlevania like game called koumajou densetsu or in English terms "touhouvania"...there are 2 games in that fangame franchise as far as I know...and it follows castlevania gameplay from the old days...
whiteskimo64 Yes, there are two such games indeed (the second was even voiced by professional seiyuu), made by Frontier Aja, and are no less hard than Touhou games are. They also feature very good soundtrack, but still I feel ZUN and Tasofro people have the best "feel" for Touhou music.
She's pretty good about not getting too tipsy, and even then, I keep an eye on her to make sure she doesn't get into trouble after drinking plenty of wine. Not all that difficult to deal with, really.
I don't know what I like more about SWR's remilia... This theme, or the fact that she handles like a hyperactive 3-year-old. With Sugar. And caffine. And at least 17 brands of energy drink, in every flavor imaginable. (An incredibly fearsome creature, for those of you who haven't ever had to deal with one.)
Flandre's Theme sounds like something that fits an insane person, and sometimes can sound cacophonous, which is what we like about it. Remillia's Theme sounds urgent, but peaceful at the same time (there's gotta be a better way to word that) which is what we like about it. Each song has it's own specifics that make it good.
Did you know, there actually are two animes, and both have two episodes out. The one you know is probably the Memories of Phantasm. The other one is named A Summer Day's dream, it's less well-drawn, but the story is way better (in my opinion).
It's amazing that this is the same basic song as Remilia's other themes, but it has a completely different feel. Her EoSD theme starts out sad and sweet, then gets more energetic, while her IaMP theme gives a constant mood of chilling bleakness and despair, and her SWR theme here is grand, glorious, and dramatic. And they all are awesome.
You know, you could do a Komaju Densou 2...if I spelled that right. During the final fight of that game (Which, you're the final boss BTW) When you tossed Gungir, multiple refracting Lazers bounced off the walls and ceilings. It was a bit delayed, but it covered a huge amount of ground and screen. Then again, that's just me and you're probably just thinkng I'm an idiot...
@deminisher98 If it wasn't played on the game, I consider it a remix. Was this song played on a Touhou game? (no, seriously, I have no idea if Remilia has appeared on any Touhou game except for EoSD -.-')
@Shadowthedgehog1 agreeed i never did like the remixes of touhou themes, it depends. but no matter what i hate the "jazz" versions from Soku this is a good remix but it just doesnt sound like it should be reimilas theme
Oh~ I never met Koishi, she's the SA extra stage Boss and until I beat the TH7 lunatic mode I can't do other Extra stages :< But I read that every people that saw her can't remember about her due to her Third Eye closed... It's sad T^T
Well...it's a tie between Kaguya and Koishi. Kaguya is absolutely magnificent, she's out of my favorite Japanese folktale, and her theme is also pretty beautiful. But if I had to choose a waifu, it would be Koishi. Her chara-design, powers, psychedelic (SA) or elegant (HM) theme along with her personnality settles it.
Hahaha it's true although I'm not against a bit of fan service especially if it's with Touhou's cast ;) As long as they keep the ecchi light, I think it can only be a bonus to the anime and it only becomes a hindrance when there is too much.
Fnas maniac mania Baloon toad:HAHA HAAAA I HAD A NEW CHALLENGER...GET READY LUIGI!!!! Luigi(nightguard):i hope its easy *"FLANDRE HAS JOINED THE FRIGHT"* Luigi:...shit
I'm seeing Reimu battling a beserk & bloodstained Remilia in the sky above scarlet devil mansion, with a nice backdrop of whirling red mist & scarlet moon...I have an idea! 3D real-time touhou rpg anyone?
@flaky93 The EoSD Version doesn't suck. It's slower, but it is still beautiful. More than this Version actually. I like it, because it reminds me of Castlevania, but the original is still better in my opinion.
I swear this song is just the 2hu version of Bloody Tears (Super Castlevania IV)... but I'm glad other people in the comments see this as a CV theme as well.
It all stems from the watch. You press the button, and time stops for all but the one who holds it. If you throw objects into the air during this time, they freeze there, ready to fly with the same speed as they had when they were thrown when time goes back to normal. This holds true for most things that are picked up and utilized in this time- the moment an object leaves my hand, it freezes too. It isn't my power, but one I just know how to use well.
There are already 3 episodes of an anime. 2 different one. They take ages to create tho. One is even created in a very high quality and the voices are from actual professional voice actors from japan. Purely fan made aswell btw.
Interesting. However, I must ask, what do you think of all the Hentai's in the TouHou community? Just wanted to see it from the perspective of the Scarlet Devil.
I'm.. not sure what time you mean, I guess. But I'll try. I was a vampire hunter in the past, someone who didn't care to try and understand as long as she got some money in her pocket. She was selfish and saw everything from only her own point of view. Now, I am a maid who has gone and been able to learn that what people call "monsters" are not that one-sided. I know what's important, and I will defend all of that with my life.
Oh, did she already tell you that story? Good, then I don't need to tell you. I did not like the post very much for some time. It was sickening to have to cut up corpses and cook them, or to make cocktails from blood.. but I became desensitized as time went on. She and her sister were both very kind to me, almost treating me like an equal, so that helped greatly. My dislike of that life wore off quickly enough.
Suika and Remilia working together....for some reason, I can't see that happening...for one, both of you clash as personalities. Where as Remilia is calm, collected and tactical, Suika is...for the most part, loose, open and...well...drunk as an oni because of obvious reasons... Plus...Suika might drop in some sake or something into Remilia's drink, and a drunk remilia, if that's even possible, has me worried just as much as if Flan herself was out and pissed...
@youtubuser10 If you hate it, I don't see what you would gain from posting hate comments on it. If you don't really care about a certain game or series, you just ignore it and avoid it, not post a hate comment and cause an argument amongst you and the fans of a series. It's a rather pointless thing to do in my opinion. And about me taking your comment seriously, I just naturally respond to comments about RL people beating up fictional uber characters (habit, which I admit I should stop with.)
@youtubuser10 You actually think that you, a normal human being, can actually beat a vampire who is strong enough to single-handedly lift a thousand year old tree, move as fast as tengus, fly, can turn into an infinite number of bats, summon demons with one word, manipulate fate, and can regenerate anytime she wants with a bit of her left? Dream on... Although because of how powerful she is, she's actually not allowed to attack humans (unless they attack her first).
So...Remilia actually can get drunk? That's...unnerving. By the way, if I'm allowed one, I have a quick question for you Sakuya. Originally I was going to joke around and ask Rhetorically, "Why are you so damn awesome" but I actually have a legitamate question now. How did you and all of the Scarlet Devil mansion end up in gensokyo?
Which one do you prefer? To me, MoP is way better as far as design and drawing goes, and also a little better on voices. They're equal on music, but the humor and story of ASDD are way better.
Well you know what ? At first I thought MoP was made by an actual anime company ! The animation, voice acting and the art was better (well at least in the second episode) and the music is great for both of them. I wouldn't say any plot is better than the other as I greatly enjoyed watching both of them. But if I had to choose between either of them, I'd choose MoP because of this "professional" feeling that it had,
You really should! A challenging but fun series of games...well, I mean it's up to you but personally I prefer the classic, linear side-scrolling Castlevania like the first, third and fourth ones as opposed to the 'Metroidvania' games like Symphony of the Night, which are open and non-linear.
Technically, yes. We left the other world in 1912, so that would be very soon before the Great War started up in Europe. We had to deal with multiple vampire hunters and holy men and the like before we left, and while that's still present here, it's lesser. I think the migration was for the best.
O.O WWI? THE WWI? Well...you are correct about the safer part. We human's aren't exactly the type who take kindly to people who are different, which is quite stupid if you ask me. Which...is actually quite evident on the internet...which, on behalf of all humanity, gomenesai.
Please make sure not to make another mess, Flan-chan. Last time, I had to make two trips of bodies off the the fires. I'd rather not do that again... By the way, I see you and your sister are on. Hello. And hello too Izayoi-chan.
@youtubuser10 1. Don't call people hoes unless you have good reason to. K'? 2. Fine then, a mermaid robot that doesn't even exist. 3: She doesn't even drink enough of her victim's blood to make more of her own kind, let alone kill anyone.
@OilyTower I'd let her have as much as she wants. Why? Because: 1: She's just that awesome 2: She's cute/attractive 3: If I tried to resist (which I wouldn't) It would get me into a worse situation than if I just let her take it.
