後半になるにつれてゲコのピョンピョンに対してしっかり対空してくるのうますぎるな…対応早すぎる

序盤刺さってたれあさんの空後めくりが刺さらなくなったあたり、スパーゴの鬼の対応力が表れてる

Its tough to open Gren up in this matchup because Aegis can consistently rising aerial to intercept Greninja, who always does and loves falling aerials, and does not have a true rising aerial option. Add that in with the Gren OOS game and its tough, but Lea played the edgeguarding game so well.

I love watching these Greninja sets because that's how I learn characters in general. I do watch guides but it's hard for me to remember the info for some reason. Maybe I learn better from example.

I was rooting for the frog, but this was a great set to watch overall. There's no shame in losing to Sparg0

It's funny hearing them talk about how Greninja and Fox are similar characters because I was a Fox main and now I main Greninja for all the same reasons they said

It’s super cool that this was such a close set, especially as Sparg0 usually does extremely well vs the Japanese players On a side note, always found it weird how the States tend to underestimate Gren imo. Europe and Japan have way higher opinions of the char and for good reason to me

I don't remember the last time a Japanese player gave Spargo such a hard time. And a Greninja no less. Skill.

As a greninja main I am very proud of Lea! He showed what our character is capable of! Sparg0 put this match as +1 for the aegis. Yes, sparg0 has little experience in the matchup but people in the U.S. stay sleeping on Greninja.

There were several points in this set where Spargo missed the punish on Lea's jump recovery. He was doing it a lot and at kill percentage. Spargo got 2 of them throughout this set but a few more well-placed prominence revolts would have made this much shorter.

Playing around pyra at kill percent has gotta be one of the dumbest things man

I'm confident that I'm not the only one questioning this.... why is Spargo not sponsored yet?

Good set. Great Greninja. Lackluster (not from the players but just how pyra/mythra works) that Greninja lost almost all his stocks at 120%+ to a safe, easily spaced Pyra tilt attack or aerial. Would’ve been interesting to see the Greninja go into poke mode with shurikens when the pyra swaps came out. No need to challenge those massive hit boxes (when it isn’t a guaranteed punish or safe option) when you can rack up free poke on a slow character like Prya until she is in kill percent for even a dash attack; would’ve “even-ed” up the stock threat. Also, I was hoping for a counter to come out on some of those Pyra aerials; I understand it can be challenging though given the spacing and timing the Pyra/Mythra player was utilizing.

Spargo is a amazing player. Great movement, timing and good mindset for such a young guy. That being said pyra mythra is actually just fucking busted....the only reason this was close was the hydro pump cheese at ledge other than that this is a 3-0 for spargo. You legit just can't fight PM idk wtf the option is for dealing with that toon
