This has got to be one of the most concise and well explained/put together tanking guide I have ever seen. Thanks so much for putting this together. I have now found my holy book for a better direction to head in.
How come your character is holding his lightsaber with 2 hands ? I can't seem to figure out how to do it with my Juggernaut. Also where did you get the giant horn hat ? Thank you :D
My Juggernaut in the video was the 2nd class of a Republic character. Republic characters, in the character window only, will hold their sabers with both hands. On the Imperial side they use one hand. The horned helmet in the video is called the Marka Ragnos's Crown. It is part of the Marka Ragnos's armor set. I believe the full box drops out of lock boxes and you might be able to find a set on the GTN. There is a second method of getting the Crown and that is from the Zannlyn (Underworld Exchange) vendor on the Cartel Bazaar. You will need to have high enough Underworld Exchange reputation to do so. So some time with a slot machine can get you there. You can also buy the other pieces of the armor there. These pieces become bound when equip. But if you perches all 6 pieces and equip them, then you can unlock the set for your legacy in the Collections. As a tank, I like to have some armor on that makes be easy to locate. That way other melee players know which side of the boss I am on, to avoid getting cleaved. Hence the full red armor set with red horns. Have fun!
I use ones that have the static Shield attribute, not the one that activates. The reason for this is that the cooldown on the Relics that activate (including the ones that self activate) is long and the boost is not that much. I would rather have the base Shield value all the time. If you have enough shield value just use the Absorb Relic that has the static value.
Jugg has...too many positive interactions for attacking "taunted" enemies....the idea of using taunt rotationally makes the gears in my head grind a little bit.
The Best part of SWTOR is gear changes ever 6 months to a year so it's really not that important. The only thing you can do is keep aggro rule number 1. Also never forget you're only as good as your healer.
