This is why I'm okay with killing Kaliyo, especially as my Agent - when she dies, Jorgan is shocked and feels as if she shouldn't have been killed for her failure. When Jorgan dies, all Kaliyo can say is "good riddance"? Never liked her from day one.
@@obamagt3688 Yeah, but that's just Kaliyo being Kaliyo. She's a manipulative sex addict who thrives on danger and adrenaline. From the very start, if you were expecting someone else, you're not picking up the subtle clues about what you're getting yourself into. I did, which was why I played along with her little game, being even more manipulative than she was, even not giving her attention and just walked away when she expected me to be pissed about cheating on me. lmao She got so pissed at me instead for just ignoring her. And then and then, when Raina came along... "I should've dumped her ages ago," said Agent to Raina. Sweet revenge.
The literal POINT is that she hides her true feelings, you see the shock when you kill Jorgan and she walks to his corpse as if she cannot believe what happened.
Seeing the Warrior's companions from the Baras story die really hurts. Poor Quinn. Poor Vette. Jaesa was tragic. I never really cared for Broonmark much. I was always a light side Sith. Personally, the choices you can make as a light side character are much better imo.
I think Light Side or Dark Side doesn't really defines the choices you have to make , that's why SWTOR remains one of the best MMORPGs there is to this imho , you have a freedom that is absent in many other bigger MMOs . I played mostly a Dark Side Warrior that was a bit of a brute , but still valued things such as loyalty . I removed Vette's collar , and even though she's not my favourite companion , she's more sympathetic afterwards . I think i romanced Quinn so it always made it easier to forgive him for momentarily betraying you to Baras ( i mean , he's originally Baras' man if i remember correctly , so it's not really a betrayal in the first place , and he ends up siding with you anyway , so Baras is the one who's betrayed in the end ) . And Jeasa is basically your Padawan and devoted to you , whether you're Light or Dark Side . Those 3 i don't think i could ever hurt them .
@@Tomcat_Coyote I loathe Jaesa and vette and would love to get rid of them. Quinn, however is the light of my life and anyone looks at him wrong and they are dead
As a dark side sith. Broo is my ultra happy fun good times murder hobo buddy. Shame! Shame! Shame! light side choices pffft... Dark side is the best. I wake up everyday and I choose violence.
@@Spartucus101 And thus you have doomed the Empire into further decades of war and death. Your ignorance shall be our destruction. For the Empire! Nah, but seriously, no problem at all with that. I know I don't play how Sith should be, but I still find it fun. Jaesa is very annoying as a dark side Sith, so I wanted her to sort of be what a Grey Jedi is. Devoted to the light, but unafraid to use the dark side if it helps her and others. But I take great pleasure in force choking enemies and then force pushing them back to Oblivion
well i think that whether its better to play light side or dark side depends on what expansion your on, because if your not on the knights expansions then its your choice entirely, but if your on the knights expansions its much better to play the nice guy or girl;)
Well.... This ALL Darkside Route is an representation of an Persona of an Truly Sick Bastard who in the end, WILL be left alone......(As every other being in Star Wars Universe is gonna be dead except for the MC......)
@@GameslordXY the fuck? If Theron didn't it, you and all your precious Alliance would be fucked up and disintegrated. So yeah, you should thank him for saving your ass.
@@twentyeightstabwounds7761 ? After accomplishing so much together, all of a sudden he lost fate in the Alliance Commander,Lana Beniko and the entire Alliancee into dealing with the situation. Arcann dealth with, Vaylen dealth with and all of a sudden Alliance becomes unable to resist a new threat? Common man. What if Lana didn't throw herself in front of the Alliance Commander to intercept that blaster bolt in that train? And what if she wasn't carrying that personal protective shielding or something? What if the alliance Commander failed to escape the train? He deserved banishment minimum, imprisonment likely. Death penalty? Probably not. I am against it anyways, but perhaps I wouldn't be able to resist myself,my anger, my rage while there on the field if was the real life event. Few skirmishes against each other aside, the Alliance kept both the Empire and the Republic in check. Tnx to the Alliance there was a balance in the Galaxy. There was relative peace and the Eternal Fleet was used to bring various resources to worlds that suffered tnx to the Eternal Empire. Now ALL of that is gone. Alliance's hand was more or less Forced to choose a side on Iokath, but even then, the Eternal Fleet and the Gravestone, made it possible to keep the Alliance's"allie"in check.
@@GameslordXY did you listen dialogues in Nathema? Theron literally said you that all this was an act, that Orden had spies in Alliance and he couldn't trust anyone and couldn't tell it commander, cause they were constantly listened all the time. And if he didn't act, Orden could just awaken Zildrog, Zildrog took the Fleet and Gravestone under control and destroyed the hole Allince forces and then just went in rampage on the galaxy. And you prevent it cause of Theron. Cause Theron infiltrated Orden, cause he sabotaged it in ways he could and fed Lana with the data that he could send without be uncovered. And then you just kill him, cause he "betrayed" you. I can understand banishment, cause you can't trust him anymore, despite he had good reasons no to tell you everything. But killing him is just stupid joice. It just doesn't have any sence, it's evil just for evil.
Well that is some Sith shit right there. While it is somewhat awesome that this is possible it is also the reason why a lot of characters go nowhere in the future. For example they introduced lesbian romance with Jaesa for female warriors. But since then afaik she didn't have a single new dialog line. The new romance is therefore hallow as fuck. Meanwhile Lana, who can't be killed afaik, got her last new romance interactions just this last update when you can kiss her goodbye. The issue is investment. Characters who can be offed tend to get side-lined in future content because a part of the player base no longer benefits from any new content with them. E.g. renewed focus on Malgus instead of Acina. Acina is only an option while Malgus is true for everyone.
It is a difficult situation to be sure, but at least Bioware does something All other games don't even try. At least here you have some choice at the expense of future content. Other games are forcing you on single paths. Is it a gimmick? Yes, but in a game where player choice is so prominent I would much rather have that Gimmick and feel like I actually have a choice and my decisions matter. At the very least Theron still has influence and presence. Realistically speaking it is a big galaxy and story lines and characters should be changed, rather than sticking with same 5-6 characters over and over. Personally I am of the opinion that true player choice RPG's should be restricted to single player games and shorter than the average RPG's, but more focus on consequence and outcome. In long running MMO's or trilogies like Bioware it always limits everything. Witcher 2 is a good example of this, because you have so many different outcomes and a unique chapter based on choices. However just like Bioware the sequel rendered it useless. These types of games should be restricted to stand alone titles or spinoffs (like New Vegas)
Gotta say, even if I'm not a huge fan of Jorgan, his death really hurt. Although the "Commander, wait" line from Theron shook me to my core, like shit that was hard to watch :(
You get the feeling Lana actually goes more lightside as she sees the brutality of the Commander kill those she considers friends like Koth and Theron as she realizes that's what the Dark Side is.
Jorgan's death is particularly poignant as he collapses between the four other havoc squad coffins. And Theran's death was the worst. he's one of my favorite companions. But I will never tire of seeing Quinn get killed. I wish you could kill him when he betrays you initially. He's a weasel.
@@MrMgage13 I don't know when exactly you were able to kill him, but from what I understand they changed it because each companion had a defined role rather than the current any companion can do anything system, and Quinn was your healer, so if you killed him you'd have no healer as a SW. I've heard that Vette would apparently kill herself if you kept the shock collar on long enough and kept torturing her with it, and it was changed for the same reason. I've never been able to find any reliable source about this tho, so take it with a grain of salt.
The saddest part about this is that the second you're given the option to kill one of your companions, you might as well do it because they're not going to be in the story from that point on either way.
The preferred husbando’s of the crazed shippers, Arcann and Theron keep getting scenes and content past their point of potential death. Nobody else seems to.
I know, right? Some of them (vik, for instance) I was like "well they kinda deserved that", but some of them (Senya for example) were just seriously heartbreaking.....
@@renegade1032 I always hated that Quinn betrayed me. He's a little stuck up but tolerable because he's helpful. But after his betrayal I want him dead. His death is actually satisfying.
Kailyo and Broonmark’s deaths were the only ones I could stand. Everyone else’s was sickening. I don’t know how anyone could play through their story like this. It’s just…sad.
Watch how he kills Quin and what Theron hears and says :D Then you probably have some incentive to kill Theron. I mean I wouln't kill him either, only if there was choice between him and Lana.
The only time I let a companion die was when I had no choice, like when you had to choose between Vette or Torian. If it was my bounty hunter I chose to save torian and if it was my sith warrior chose to save Vette. Other classes I usually flipped a coin.
Think about it from another perspective. Which person is more useful in the long run? A Mando or a thief? In a time of conflict, I'll take the Mando every time. The only time Vette survives is because she was my warrior's romance.
For me, I looked at it like this, Vette is a young woman with a sister and friends who would be devastated at her death, Torian is a warrior of Mandalore, dying in battle, especially to Vaylin, would be a great honor to him, and while certainly people would mourn over him, everyone he knew would see it as an honorable death, even with the initial capturing. If you could speak to either companion's ghost post death, Torian would also see it that way, whereas Vette would probably be initially hurt that you chose to let her die, then there'd probably be some light side/dark side replies where she understands that it wasn't an easy decision, or she gets even more hurt because of how you viewed her, either as a lesser resource or were glad to be rid of her.
@Kris Gonzalez I only feel bad about it because his original VA died. That’s a different person voicing him in KotFE as they wanted to get rid of any chance people would think he could return in the event they hadn’t heard the news as soon as possible.
@@HauptmannKrause I don't see why replacing a VO for a role is that big of a deal. They didn't use the same actor for Mordin in ME3 that BW used in ME2. Yes, I could tell the difference.
@@LdyVder Maybe that was their excuse to get rid of Vik? He's admittedly the worst Havoc Squad member and BioWare probably thought he wasn't really worth bringing back. Besides, it really wouldn't suit his character if he joined the Alliance (the same could be said about Kaliyo, really). It's also a nice twist, with BioWare saying that you might not get every one of your old companions back.
The ultimate consequence for an all DS playthrough should be Lana finally turning on you. No way to turn back. No conversation option, no romance background. Shes finally tired of you murdering everything that crosses your way. And it should be a multiple phase fight with her saying things that hurt you in the soul. Then applying a debuff on your hp or dmg to show how much her words, if not her attacks, hurt you.
To be honest. I didn't killed Theron on my 5 characters. But I talked to myself: "What if...?" And 6th character I left him on Nathema.. And when Satele appeared in the cutscene I was heartbroken
@@PietiaZz Jaesa would kill the Wrath if she had the chance because she is a Sith and Sith always strive to kill their masters. A Sith's loyalty is worth nothing because Sith embody pure ambition and would never settle with being somebody's subordinate. Sith are also incapable of feeling true long-lasting love, they can admire people for their power but not more. Sith keep relationships purely for their personal gain. This is also one of the reasons why Lana isn't a real Sith. She is actually happy with her position as a subordinate. If that wasn't enough, she also has actual friends that she cares for, not servants like it is common among Sith. Her whole persona is against Sith philosophy. She might use the Dark Side of the Force occasionally but she is NOT a Sith, even if she herself or others might refer to her as such. It's similar with Darth Marr. He also rejected parts of Sith philosophy which is why he managed to become one with the force (true darksiders cannot become one with the force). So Marr is actually the only "Sith" that truly broke his chains and became immortal, all because he rejected Sith philosophy.
If I only played as Sith Warrior, I probably select to kill a few of them easily, but I completed all stories. The only companion I killed was SCORPIO in my entire gameplay so far. And I couldn't choose Torian over Vette. She's something else in the Warrior storyline. And even a traitor like Quinn is useful in the Alliance since he's a major. Everyone has a role in my story.
Good job on the choices and video. Personally, in my play throughs I have never killed off a companion cause I tend to go with the build as strong an alliance as possible. As much as I dislike Koth, I keep him around to keep Zakul "pacified" for example. As much as I don't like Kaliyo, she is useful behind enemy lines causing anarchy and collateral damage. But if I had to choose between her or Jorgan I would take Jorgan from the military spec force perspective of dealing the most damage to enemy forces.
Wait is vette really suprised that you would leave her to die.... i mean she is just a slave in your chars eyes and a mando is more useful to a sith like yours. ( 21:42 )
@@NINETYSIXMARS Vette is just great. A mandalorian is good and all, but we got Shae so...as much as i like Torian, him being my mains brother in arm, it just feels "better" to let him die. Atleast Torian had embraced and was ready to meet his fate
Sheesh, this game is actually a good continue of the KOTOR series. Like in what MMO you have SO much good characters you really care about. It's almost feels like singleplayer game.
That scene with Skadge and Rusk: I would have killed Skadge, hate that guy. He, Broomark, Xalek and Quinn are the companions, I really like to kill, even with a light side character. They are awful. Especially Quinn and Skadge.
I can't kill any of them. I simply can't because I would never be able to play the game with them again. So thank you for the video here to show me the impossible.
Am I the only one who thinks killing Dark Jaesa is actually a more fitting ending. She just completely broke after your death and I think it is a better ending to the person she was becoming. Putting an end to her pain rather than being completely dependent on you.
I always have the alignment only to figure out whats going to be basically a war crime or not. Sometimes its better to pick an incharacter choice than a light or dark choice
Anybody who kills lana, should we ever get the choice, i will come to their house and beat them in the face and ass repeatedly with a stiff wookie. Nobody puts hands on beniko, thats rule one for swtor, lol
Nah, the only one that I really didn't feel any regret was Koth. Hate heroic characters, always following the "righteous path" even if it's worse for all except them
@@hexteria4708 Being righteous is the exct opposite of doing what is worse for others... Koth was always thinking about his home and friends and never did anything just for himself. If you play a DS character, your character is an asshole and deserves to be betrayed.

I love Jorgan... never could kill him... even playing a character that may not like him, man that was so sad. Hell if he was a romance options for males I'd go for it... at least once. By the way i think you can still Kill Xalek after lettign him kill the miners. I think i remember my agent getting the option to after allowing Xalek do his duty (kill miners), although he recruited Xalek under his command instead.
Do you mean the quality or the method? I have not done this before, but the quality for some reason does not go beyond 480. The 2 other videos I uploaded got to HD. I think it has something to do with the video length. If you mean something else please elaborate
I didn't know the terminal existed. So initially i tried to gather as many alive as possible. For some i absolutely wish i had not. Like Broonmark and Skadge. Like seriously. All the others are probably of some use for the Alliance.... but those two not really.
I did a Dark side play through with my Sith Warrior in which I killed practically every companion I could... Except Theron, I was going to, I even spent a lot of time justifying it to myself, but when it came to make that choice, I just couldn't do it. This game really knows how to hand you difficult choices. Then there's Kaylio, I enjoyed that one, I hated her as an Agent, and I hated her in the KoTFE story. (I also kept Quinn alive, he's not done making it up to me yet)
Soon the new expansion will come out and you can customize your characters further. Jedi can use lightning or force choke based on conditions and all weapons will be available to the non-force user classes. Plus the story is getting updates so that's nice

As a Sith, I could never kill Jaesa because her level of villainy is so sexy and compliments my sith villainy perfectly. Her killing me peeps is just her way of sending flowers before the coming 'I'm glad to see you alive' hug.
I don't get it, which companions are than left, and btw I would never leave Vette even as dark side Sith Warrior where I kill all the companions, I always leave Torian to die off. So how many companions you have that are still alive, sure Lana (never, ever touch Lana and Vette) and who else?
Some companions only return for specific class For example Sith Warrior gets to kill Jaesa and Quinn. That is not possible with any other class. He can kill off 4 out 5 of his original companions. No other class has that many options. The smuggler cannot kill all his companions, but has the highest amount that he can recruit in the game. That is because most of his OG companions are not part of the main story and thus are not available to anyone else.
