Stop saying the audience was boring. This comes straight from the Soundboard. It automatically cuts out the audience for clarity, so the focus is only on the music.

Here's the thing...BOTH Xscape and SWV were big in the 90s...but I don't care what nobody says, it was 2 things that gave them both more street buzz. First of all, their Versuz appearance. But most of all, was their Queens of R&B show on Bravo...which whether people admit it or not, came via the one and only Kandi Burrus. Music is not just singing. It's also business. And that's what Kandi was a big part of elevating for BOTH groups.
@@LeeDfinedNo, Kandi had nothing to do with SWV getting on that show. That was all Mona. Kandi wanted to do another Xscape show, but Bravo wasn't interested.
@LeeDfined Queen of Rnb did not put SWV back on. They've been doing reality shows before that. They had 'SWV: Reunited" and 'SWV and Salt-n-Pepper: Ladies Night'. Kandi's long history on reality TV and SWV l's long history on reality help both SWVand Xscape.
Yes her voice matured and went though its seasons, like her voice first matured around 1992 then again 1997 then around the late 00's and around 2018/2019 and then around 2021 and now again... but when she goes into that higher upper register of her belts she goes crazyyy!
