Because someone has decided, and quietly people have co-signed, on shutting down REAL R&B music. Not really allowing it to have a real presence on radio, television. You have to dig for good r&b nowadays. So they feed the masses the low-base meaningless nonsensical garbage, that has always been apart of rap/hip-hop - r&b to the forefront as the main visible reflection of a people and culture, death. I could go on and on pontificating, but when I was coming up SWV and MOBILE were on the radio prominently alongside Snoop, Dr Dre, 2Pac and Notorious BIG....and all the aforementioned "Rappers" with curse words and all outshine all the junk on the radio, Internet, wherever. Just seems like the world is moving backwards!
