Hi Adam, my 7 yr old wants a metal detector so i have bought him the 1st Swing + an Ada spade, digging tool, find bag and a pin pointer detector. He will get it all this weekend as an early xmas gift (best to get it now whilst the ground is reasonably soft). Hopefully he will be pleased with it all but im hooked already watching these videos so i think i will have to get the Ultra. i also like the chest cam you use which has the ability to zoom what is it? its has such a sharp image quality.
Fantastic! The camera is just my mobile phone with a cheap chest mount. It's a Samsung Galaxy S20+ so nothing terribly up to date. I do make a few adjustments in post production 🤫😉
Hi Adam, just put the SX 24 on my machine but the weather is rubbish. Not had a change to try it. All I need now is a lighter scoop...mine weights a ton. Any suggestions? I’m just 1.58 cm so a small one will do. Been looking at an EmiteR S140...nice and small and maybe I can extend it a bit...anyways...great hunt and thanks for showing the SX24...can't wait to try it. #ONWARD!
Good luck when you do get out. It's a great coil! To be honest I love my Nokta scoop. It's light enough for me and the handle adjusts in length so it'll definitely be a good size for you.
Hi Adam new to detecting got a second hand ultra that came with both coils should I stay with the bigger one and learn the machine or should I try both, not sure when to have what one on. Thanks Andy
Hi Andy! Stick with the stock (larger) coil until you feel completely comfortable with the machine. Then, introduce the smaller one for trashy sites. It'll help you understand how the coil changes the feel and performance of the detector when you change.
