WOW! I witnessed the guys grabbing Capt's chefs hat at the 9:30 Club show in DC! He was genuinely upset and seriously refused to play until they relented (with pressure from the crowd) to give the hat back. Capt put it back on, took a big spit at them, and then the encore commenced. They played 2 nights there. The following night Brian James had a tantrum onstage, walked off and quit the tour.
Damned Damned Damned was and still is a great album, but for me it has to be Machine gun etiquette and let's not forget the masterpiece that invented goth - the Black Album
@@blakejohnson7148 Definitely correct there but the first two two albums didn't introduce keyboards and the change in Musical direction like Machine Gun Etiquette did .
Ive been a damned fan for 40 years and only recently been to see them wich was class. I love them all my life. Captain is fucking mental but truthful and a fucking instistition.
Met him & his family on hols in the Canary Islands 1999 - only a dozen of us including an ex guitarist from S & the banshees - they didn't speak to each other - but he was really cool - did Day Dream Believer on Karaoke whizzing the mike wire around much to the dismay of the female host .
***** Well, I hope you're not wearing steel toes.... I *think* tickets at the door were somewhere around $10, but I was on the guest list, so can't be certain. Sorry you didn't make it!
