SXTH has been on a roll. I actually like that they are engineers rather than just fabricators

This part. I especially like their long blog posts about the methods, why they decided on a particular design, what they change, issues they ran into. You can tell they are passionate about offering quality parts and are not rushing to market to money grab.

Personally I think the only product that sixth element makes for the GR Corolla that’s better than the rest is this pitch mount. There exhaust, intercooler, and CAI for the Corolla are kinda mid range for the price and performance but there pitch mount is the best on the market so far.

Their design and quality is EXTEMELY high for this product.

Nice comparo, but I think the GGP one would be the best for me...just for the fact that you can change out the bushing and not have to buy an entire unit again. Going to the track, get the 90, get home and change it out to the 60 or whatever. Your videos are so thought provoking and educational for the diyer, keep up the great work you're doing, a lot of people appreciate it I'm sure. Mahalo!

Another option to look into for the pitch mont is from DXM, search it on Facebook, they include 2 bushings with their mount for the same price.

The Sxth Element mount smooths shifts and improves power delivery, both on and off acceleration significantly. The engine doesn't lurch forward and backward, alleviating the need for throttle control. While this mount elevates NVH to a certain extent, it falls short of the expected level associated with a polyurethane variant. The NVH is perceptible at a standstill, as observable vibrations in the airbag and a discernible sensation in both the feet and seat. Note that this evaluation is based on 10 miles of drive time. There is potential for the rubber to soften over time, yet it remains suitable for daily use. Another notable observation, this mount enhances stability in cornering.

I differ in opinion on how this doesn't alleviate more NVH, compared to a polyurethane option. Though I do understand a lot of this is personal preference, or how certain things may feel for others. However, I did run (still own it) an 85A Polyurethane mount from Grocery Getter performance for over 10,000 miles. And that was high levels of NVH, but performed amazingly. The next time I dropped down to the 60A poly unit, ran that for a few thousand miles, and ended at the SXTH one, which for me gave me a bit of a "best of both worlds" scenario. I gained further performance, but the NVH for me was the right mix and less than the previous units I ran. I've also have been running this for over 6,000 miles, so it may break-in more for you as time goes on. Almost every option available for the GRC has its merits, so there really is no wrong answer.

For what its worth, my toddler can still fall asleep in the car with the 85A bushing installed. 😂

I ran the 85A bushing for so long I do miss the performance benefits but find the 75A a happy medium. My kids too liked it as well. Lol.

Hi, stumbled upon your video and checked it out. Very informative for sure, i have the SE Sedan M/T and I’m wondering if this part will work on my car. I’m just heading to work now, hopefully you can reply when you have time and fill me in. I’ll have to check out more of your videos!

Hey! Thanks for watching! I do know that the company Grocery Getter Performance, was the first ones to create these mounts for the Corolla and Corolla Hatchback. I know those work on the hatchback because the mount location is the same. On the sedan is may be different, but I would check out their website, as they have these mounts for almost all of the E210 chassis.

Hey CarQuicks, What symptoms did you have that made you replace the pitchmount?
@CarQuicks
@CarQuicks 3 месяца назад
So it wasn't really about symptoms I had, I drive alot and I have access to alot of backroads near my house. The thing you will feel (by design) is hard or fast shifting you can feel drivetrain movement. This eliminates any additional movement you get fro the drivetrain when spiritedly driving and shifting fast.
@iadonutguy5894

you mentioned that your stock one may be cracked. Curious if you felt this when it became cracked? I'm mainly wondering about how long these last before needing replaced?
@CarQuicks
@CarQuicks 6 месяцев назад
I believe it to be, but I have seen from others who have tracked the car that the bushing has cracked. The main reason any of us make this change is due wanting the performance gain of less engine movement under hard driving. I wouldn't approach this mod as something for a failing part, as many other owners have not replaced this and have been driving their GR Corollas fine.

Where can I purchase this mount? I’ve been on SXTH page but I’m unable to locate it. Thanks
@CarQuicks

It's not available just yet, I'm running a prototype from SXTH Element that's currently at 75A for their rating on the bushing. Should be soon though. If you want a pitch mount right now, DeltaX, GroceryGetterPerfoamcne and RacerX are all available.

Any word on when SXTH plans to release this?
@CarQuicks
@CarQuicks 5 месяцев назад
I haven't heard any word just yet, but it will come soon. They are also probably working through the large backorder they have on intakes, exhausts and other parts they've created.

Which had less NVH? The 60A poly or new SXTH element 70A
@CarQuicks
@CarQuicks Месяц назад
Less nVH will be with the 60A, I'm okay withe h tradeoff of a little more NVH for more performance. For any of these pitch mounts thats the decision you have to make. How much more NVH to performance are you willing to endure.
@hasonlavajunk9774
@hasonlavajunk9774 Месяц назад
@@CarQuicks Thanks. I ended up selling that SXTH Element and just put in a Polyflex on stock mount. SXTH NVH was too harsh with A/C on for me, but Polyflex feels exactly like stock. But as you opined, shifting was better with the harder options.
