The Royal National Park is about 45 mins south of Sydney.
It is the oldest National Park in Australia.
Over 230 Species of bird have been spotted here.
We travel around the Wattle Park Picnic Ground, and down Lady Carrington Drive

There is definitely a bit less birdlife around, but it is mainly the migratory species you will not see. All the regular Aussie birds will be out and about. Have an awesome time!

It was the first place I birder in Australia. It's lovely, I was able to take a train directly there from the city. Highlights (well, everything was a highlight) but I recall the Satin Bower birds and a bower, hearing Lyraburds for the first time and coming across two Powerful Owls. Of course the parrots were something very special for me as well.

Thank you, at the moment I’m using a Nikon Z9 with a 400mm 2.8 lens. With this video I think I was using my older 500mm 5.6 lens

A tip for everyone trying to photograph azure kingfishers they are basically hummingbirds with how small and zippy they are they will sit in one spot for no more than 10 seconds
