WOW, safe to say these 2 teams hate each other! Hard to be critical of the referee for being such a big part of the game. Because the players didn't leave him any choice! Very physical game, not the best Rugby played, but the Finals intensity was palpable!

What a mighty game

Souths did well to "ruffle the Roosters feathers" and turn the game into a messy fight rolling around on the floor in the mud. Otherwise Roosters probably had the advantage. Fair play, they stood up to the early pressure and converted their tries and the Roosters looked shell-shocked going behind only adding to the pressure. Good qualifier game: Pressure and concentration being key elements.

The stretch just after 20 mins was full on . The bunnies copped one shot after another from JWH and Victor the inflictor and then big Tom got in on the act on Teddy and co Bonkers period of the game , you don’t see much in these highlights but there was a lot going on !

Jwh the usual liability. Victor letting his reputation influence his game week in week out, drop the act and play good footie. Latrell the calmest I’ve seen him in a long time.

Cody could play till hes 40. Most guys slow down during his age but not him. Its like he has a lot of energy because he started late in the nrl.
