Sydney Spiny Crayfish has a go...then wants a hug! 

While taking a break for some lunch beside Hacking River in Royal National Park, we spotted a huge Spiny Crayfish in the water. We sent the #GoPro in for a closer look. Turns out, he either wanted to have a go (this is Aussie for ‘wanted to fight’), simply was curious…or wanted a hug?!
Similar to a Yabbie, these Crayfish are endemic to Australia but unlike Yabbies, they have spines all over their claws and thoracic region. Stunning colours - reds, oranges and blues with unique almost iridescent white spots in a beautiful arrangement.
