Thanks so much for this! So useful...I'm sure this is harder by a mile than Don Juan but people seem to not worry as much (as I do) about it! Great tips and good practice inspiration for forthcoming auditions.

No, definitely Don Juan is quite harder, in Don Juan you demonstrate all the things he said in this excerpt plus speed, intonation and high notes.
